The goal scoring area in league is almost 3 times smaller than AFLs.
As for the try area being big. Funny how less points are still scored in all 3 codes that use this scoring method compared to the huge number of easy goals in AFL.

Look lets be fair here. The AFL has expanded during the last decade or so so the quality player pool has thinned considerably. I'll give you that excuse guys.
But then again, I'm not sure but I have an inkling its not a new thing that randoms have made it to the top level in the AFL without a smidgeon of playing experience compared to the southern Australian youth who try and do make it to the top... Would I be right in thinking that xman? Or is it just since the player pool thinned significantly after poor expansion planning?
