The Swans get crowds but their tv ratings are dismal in Sydney. While GWS are going backwards and being destroyed by the Wanderers in Western Sydney.
Come back when AFL can actually get another nation to actually turn up and watch their game lol.
many of their tv ratings are around 100k in Sydney when you count FTA and Fox. That's around 1/3 to 1/4 the NRL on TV in Sydney. How is 1/4 of the heartland sport dismal?
If AFLs Sydney ratings were that good it would be shown on Ch 7 instead of the low rating fill in channel 7mate.
The Swans barely made the news when they made the grand final in Sydney. Was all about South Sydney. You AFL fans really have no idea how little most people care about Victorias game.
It is shown clearly with GWS going backwards with merchandise sales and sponsorship.
the fact they get 50-80k on a secondary digital channel (plus foxtel) while competing against the NRL is a good effort. Of course they are minor news, just like the storm down here
The difference is the Swans had a long 100 year history in Melbourne and have been around 15 years longer in Sydney the the Storm have in Melbourne. So that is a huge head start.
Melbourne started from scratch with no existing fans in another city like the Swans. They are doing well in an AFL mad city.
so care to explain why each year the swans have the largest attendence average in sydney

& cant outrate the teletubbies on tv
You seem to keep forgetting that
Ah well
You are a pig shit for brains know nothing vic.tar.d wanker
Wot else can we expect

weve covered that. 1/4 the ratings of the NRL which is perfectly reasonable. Double the NRL crowds which is outstanding. You got nothin

1/4

:_<>
The NRL in sydney attracts 2 million veiwers each n every week
Thats 30 times the swines pathetic 70k figure
We have 9 sides
You are comparing 1 game
& trying to say thats it
You are a tosser
A wanker
A bubble dwelling vic.ta.rd halfwit dribbler
Give up
Cos its you who has nuttin

so now youve moved onto cummulative ratings.
One single FN night, Swans v NRL, 80k v 360k
The maths is very simple

:_<>
We dont have 1 side you blithering wanker
We have 9
You continue to think theres only 1 game & 2 sides in sydney
If every NRL fan in Sydney watched ... 1 game
It would surpass 1 million
Thats yr figure
15 times the swines figure
Not 4
Its obvious you arent real bright
A vicderpian wanker
Uneducated
Bubble dweller
Deluded
Not in touch with reality
But try... try n have a think about it
N quit
You are so far behind its embarrasing
yeah base your game on invisable people from TV land, from those 4800k ratings boxes
thats why every thing else from revenue to crowds and sponsorships are so low

it is
it really is
but you can't seem to grasp it

:_<> :_<>
lets try again
that Friday Night NRL game ..
has only about 33% of Sydney's NRL population watching it
the fans of the 2 sides playing & some neutrals
while every fumble derping drop kick wanker in Sydney is watching the Swines
so that's
again
1/15
not 1/5
get educated you dork
you are just embarrassing yourself now

Firstly, none of that changes my point one bit, so thanks for agreeing
Secondly, got any proof for this comment?

that's what Ive been proving to all in here for 2 days now
& NRL GF & SOO ratings consistently prove that RL's fan population in Sydney is in excess of a million
15 times bigger then the derps n fumbles
1/15
got it now tosser ?

nothing you have shown disproves this: Of the 450k or so that typically watch sport on a friday night in Sydney 1 in every 5 will tune into the swans rather than NRL
and the Swans TV ratings in the AFL GF prove they have at least 500k fans. Too easy

Im not trying to disprove anything
simply pointing out .. your statement is absurd & means nothing
with your ridiculous example
you are attempting to say theres 1 fumbletard to 5 NRL fans in Sydney
see?
that's absurd

:_<> :_<>
its 1/15
& you know I'm right but you are a deluded bubble dwelling tosser & can't admit it
and the Swans TV ratings in the AFL GF prove they have at least 500k fans
ahhh
based on that wanker
the Storm have 900K fans in Melbourne .......... sweet

LOL I've specifically said it doesnt show total numbers you halfwit. But what it does do is bring the swans ratings into context. 1/4 the NRLs ratings is actually a reasonable result especially given its on 7 mate.
Thanks for coming

70K
up against 1 million plus
wow
that's outstanding

:_<> :_<>
1/15th
after 33 years & probably a billion dollars of extra assistance , 5 GF's & 2 premierships handed to them
that's just plain embarrassing

don't need to drop kick
1 NRL game on a Friday or when ever does not represent all NRL fans in Sydney watching
1 fumblederps game ...has all but every singlet wearing fuckwit in Sydney present & accounted for
its not rocket science son
rise above yr single digit IQ for once & you'll get it eventually

For the 10th time Im not saying it does you goose. But on every FN around 450k settle down to watch sport in Sydney and 1 in 5 prefer the Swans. Thems the facts, neither of us can change it

for the 11th time
so wot ?
that's 100% of fumblederpers in Sydney
& only 33% of NRL fans in Sydney
times the NRL figure by 3
it aint very good reading for the Swines
