Finals always draw bigger crowds than the home and away season, and do not involve all the clubs. Adding the finals penalises eight NRL clubs and ten AFL clubs.
 
But it doesnt matter to the overall NRL crowd average which is what we're talking about.
 
to a degree it does. their H&A crowds were down but their final series was up, mainly due to Souths & their bandwagon fans, The Packer Empire C9 pumping them up all finals series
