I agree they are not more accurate, never claimed they were, but multiple surveys assuming they are asking different people are indicative of the state of play.
otherwise why do surveys?

You have literally spent tens of posts on this forum claiming that they are more accurate.
depending on how accurate they are will always be questionable, but they all show league to be far behind AFL and Soccer in participation rates

The_Wookie wrote:thats always been true, and I dont think that the League guys disagree with that in general. Whats at issue is people claiming that there are only 100,000 registered league players based on survey data.
i dont really know, but it pisses the RL mob off
the 104k is a survey done by the ABS a government agency!
RL mob claim anywhere 1.4 million to 1.8 million play league

AFL has decent participation in one country, typical AFL clown using just Australia to put AFL ahead lol.
Do you have the figures for Rugby Leagues participation globally against AFL???
I know for a fact AFL comes way way behind lol Making yourself look stupid as usual

If you have 1.8 million AFL players then why is your AFL world cup so amatuer???
With that many players globally the AFL world cup would be as big as Rugby Unions.
I smell total AFL bullshit

Ah ok my mistake. I am not sure what it would be but would be alot higher than AFLs globally when you count Samoa, Fiji, England, New Zealand etc

He asked for registed players, not a fucking survey result.
And yet Volleyball Australia has the figures nowhere near that. And by nowhere near it, I mean they put registered players at less than 12,000. And I mean its not like they have anything to gain by undercutting ABS figures by 80,000 or anything

There are no reliable figures. How can there be without the proper administrative resources needed? Goes for all sports.

The ABS is unreliable. They have to guess because there are no real numbers available.
