Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
I agree they are not more accurate, never claimed they were, but multiple surveys assuming they are asking different people are indicative of the state of play.
otherwise why do surveys?
otherwise why do surveys?

Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
depending on how accurate they are will always be questionable, but they all show league to be far behind AFL and Soccer in participation ratesThe_Wookie wrote:You have literally spent tens of posts on this forum claiming that they are more accurate.post_hoc wrote:I agree they are not more accurate, never claimed they were, but multiple surveys assuming they are asking different people are indicative of the state of play.

i dont really know, but it pisses the RL mob offThe_Wookie wrote:thats always been true, and I dont think that the League guys disagree with that in general. Whats at issue is people claiming that there are only 100,000 registered league players based on survey data.

the 104k is a survey done by the ABS a government agency!
RL mob claim anywhere 1.4 million to 1.8 million play league

Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
AFL has decent participation in one country, typical AFL clown using just Australia to put AFL ahead lol.leagueiscrap wrote:depending on how accurate they are will always be questionable, but they all show league to be far behind AFL and Soccer in participation ratesThe_Wookie wrote:You have literally spent tens of posts on this forum claiming that they are more accurate.post_hoc wrote:I agree they are not more accurate, never claimed they were, but multiple surveys assuming they are asking different people are indicative of the state of play.

Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
If you have 1.8 million AFL players then why is your AFL world cup so amatuer???
With that many players globally the AFL world cup would be as big as Rugby Unions.
I smell total AFL bullshit

Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
Ah ok my mistake. I am not sure what it would be but would be alot higher than AFLs globally when you count Samoa, Fiji, England, New Zealand etcRaiderdave wrote:Thats our figure champAFLsforPussies wrote:If you have 1.8 million AFL players then why is your AFL world cup so amatuer???

Post Hoc, how about you just admit you were wrong hey?The_Wookie wrote:He asked for registed players, not a fucking survey result.post_hoc wrote:ABS have the figures around 100,000 I believe
And yet Volleyball Australia has the figures nowhere near that. And by nowhere near it, I mean they put registered players at less than 12,000. And I mean its not like they have anything to gain by undercutting ABS figures by 80,000 or anything

Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
There are no reliable figures. How can there be without the proper administrative resources needed? Goes for all sports.AFLsforPussies wrote:Ah ok my mistake. Re: Are police numbers counted at the sooker?
The ABS is unreliable. They have to guess because there are no real numbers available.
