Said it before and I'll say it again. Izzy made a fortune out of AFL and hated the game so much that he LEFT MID CONTRACT FOR LESS MONEY!!
If that is not a marketing disaster for AFLs efforts at promoting AFL to Islanders and Rugby League fans I don't know what is.

Seems to me like you should take your own advice. You didn't present anything relevant. We were talking about success in the case of Hunt and Folau when they were playing in the AFL, right? AFL persued Izzy he did'nt persue AFL you git.
He took the money and jumped ship early so how on earth is is a failure on Izzys part????
AFL tried to promote AFL to Islanders by stealing an NRL islander player. Him quitting early and going back to a Rugby code early was a promotion disaster for AFL.
How can you not see that???
And yes it is obvious you love AFL and pretending to be all impartial.

Excuse me but I was criticising the AFL in case you didn't notice it. Izzy failed because he harmed his own reputation by taking the money and leaving rugby league, and then failing to do anything while he in the AFL. It doesn't matter how much money went into his bank account - he failed. So did the AFL. It was a foolish move.
