They have more games than any code on TV bar the AFL atm and even now if we take all games that are shown between them, I think RL might come out on top if we add u20s, NSW cup, QLd while the AFL can add their state cups and whatnot. Both these codes get over 200 million a year which is double their nearest rivals 5 year contracts in total. Yet RL is supposedly last?

the AFL has similar ratings to the NRL, it makes 200 million plus no broardcast revenue
the Union ratings & A leagues ratings are shit, but their non broadcast revenue is higher than league
licensing, sponsorships, memberships, proper attendance figures at games, club revenue streams people playing the codes at lower levels. all that revenue adds up.
