Maybe because the NZ team is in our comp and plays as many games as everyone else home and away and have done since 1995?

It was a sokka game between the so-called biggest club in Sydney vs a club that also had 30k at their last home game, a drop all up of over 67,000 from last weekend.

Them the facts sokka boy, you wanna have a crack and lie about RL, I ain't lying, your lot dropped 67k in under a week for the same two sides.

also, hows that 3k help that massive 13k average regionwide?

LOL

It is not the A League, hard for you to understand maybe but it wasn't the A league it is a different competition.

It would be like comparing Sheffield Shield crowds to a Boxing Day Ashes test. The next game in that competition is Bentley Green versus Adelaide City, ie two semi professional clubs not in the A League.

Do you understand?

Ahh no dopey

Comparing a shield crowd to a boxing day test match wouldnt be the same
Because nsw & vic dont play ashes boxing day tests
However
Last time I checked
Sydney fc n.adelaide are both oi league teams & its quite fair n reasonsble to.compare those crowfs

You want it to be Sydney focused, because lets face it, you don't really have anything else to go by. How sad

BTW it is Post hoc, short for Post hoc, ergo propter hoc, you knuckle dragging mouth breather, quick question does your family tree fork?

Lets do this as simple as possible for you, you like numbers?

1. The game is played in Sydney, so it is relevant
2. Football is a world game, so why limit the viewership to only Sydney.
3. Sometimes you say Sydney, next it is Australia? Why, why expand it from Sydney to Australia, but then fail to expand it to anywhere else?
4. Doesn't someone here have a sig about how great the superleague TV deal is in the UK?

more numbers

$1.5 million prize money on offer for the winner
67 million, the viewers for last years final (we won't get that but hey a fraction of that is nice)
130 matches, the number of games played in this competition so it is not a small thing
20 million my prediction for the minimum amount of TV viewers over both legs

You really like trying to change the rules when you loose the argument. The game is being played in Sydney, so it is relevant, but unlike your sport this game will be viewed worldwide, (well at least half the world LOL)

Did you get hit in the head a lot ?
Go back & read the thread title .
Then the opening post.

Ok you understand that..lol prob not.
This was about 2 teams in Syd..that is why Syd is mentioned.

Then it was claimed that this game was the biggest rivalry in Sport in this country..
That is why AUST is mentioned .

You don't judge a team or sports popularity in one place ( simple language for you...home support). By who watches in another country.
Are you Cwacker?.

That was his bizarre logic.

Home town support could be worked out by H & A crowd averages ,instead of just Home averages.

Simple question for a very simple person.

How does a TV viewer in another country count as a home town fan ,& reflect the home town support ?

:))) :)))
Yet we see over and over nrl people trying to include nrl TV ratings on nz to boast about beating the AFL ????
Did someone vomit ?

No?

the ffa cup is a knockout competition featuring amateur, semi pro and a-league clubs

a similar year long competition for RL is the nsw cup - nsw cup prelim finals were attended by 267, and 84 respectively :(

then a little over 3,000 for the GF for the biggest grass roots RL game of the year for this state

puts things into perspective :afro:

next time we play at home in the a-league there will be 20k+ in attendance, as usual - and the nuffies will be back into hiding

So much anger.
Is it because you can't answer my questions?
Why is that.
Will you have to admit that in Syd & Aust(which is what this thread & topic are about) Hooligan ball is nowhere near as popular as what is made out.
The game between 2 Syd teams is nowhere near the biggest rivalry in sport.

You could end your miserable deflecting posts & admit it & move on .
Might help you calm down.

& another simple question you will ignore,

If the broncos are watched by say 50 k people in PNG how do they count them as Home town support,or showing how popular the broncos are in Bris?.

:))) :))) :))) :)))
I await your answer
Insert rant here.

Your PNG question, are the Broncos playing against an international team? No, so hardly the same thing. The Wanderers are playing in a regional competition. Apparently this is beyond your understanding. As for the rest of what appears to be the random scribble of a monkey, I have continuously answered your same question ver and over again, either get remedial help with literacy, or ask an adult to help you on the computer.
