perfect pricing would be if all tickets sold out simulatenously at kickoff. That means they've maximised revenue relative to people's willingness to pay for SOO tickets.

As long as the total crowd figure is more than 180k for the 3 games that's good pricing. But, prices have risen exceedingly quickly so im not sure if SOO 3 will sell out if one team wins it in 2 games.

The price rise is the reason why they are having trouble selling it out. I've always said that thugby league is killing itself by making it accessible live on the box, whether it be FTA or Foxtel. I'll bet they don't sell out and the ratings in Sydney and Brisbane break records. Tells a bigger story than anyone will admit.

Fumbleball logic.
37K crowd in a 43K stadium is a sellout.
50K tickets sold with 2 days to go in a 52K stadium ...not a sellout ..NRL in trouble..

Yep, looked awesome. Friend at work telling me about the atmosphere at the game, I had to explain that yep, as a collingwood supporter I'm quite used to big crowds lol. Atmosphere is everything at the footy

I was wondering how long it was going to take for a throwballer to bring a knife (TV ratings) to a gun fight (crowd thread).
