Dumbo, is it that hard for you to understand that I think that Chaney should have been given the Australian Of The Year. He should not have been nominated for and given S.A.O.T.Y but nominated for and given the more prestigeous title of Australian Of The Year. He has done more in his lifetime than Goodes has and deserves it more.

While McGuires comments were unacceptable there was a clear difference between his brain fart, which was careless, and the vilification hurled at Goodes by the teenage girl, which was deliberate. McGuire also came straight out and apologised to Goodes, plus McGuire had worked with Goodes during the prior racist incident, showing to Goodes he also didnt condone racism.

They are certainly not similar, nor was Goodes response.
