Your team gets an unfair advantage over other teams in the comp..COLA..is just another name for Vlad making sure that the Swans don't fall over.

In the NRL if my team wins the GF it will be because they are the best team all yr.
NOT BEACAUSE THEY HAD AN UNFAIR ADVANTAGR & MORE $$$$$ TO SPEND THAN OTHER TEAMS.
The AFL is a compromised ,unfair comp ,where non heartland teams are given extra$$$$$,given the best players ,given the 1st pick of the young stick insects ,all to the detriment of heartland teams ,such as MELB.
The fans o those clubs know that they have no hope of winning a comp ,as long as the northern state teams are ensured success by Mr Creosote.

& then the most laughable was a system where teams are rewarded for losing .

Any other sport the shame of winning the spoon is enough motivation to keep teams trying all yr.

Oh what a load of shit - your fucked up comp - has the hid to make an example out of Melb Storm when Manly, Cronulla etc etcetera were doing exactly the same - your comp doesn't require that players file tax returns with the NRL and clubs supply all banking records - instead it has a system that is open to abuse - no draft - so the Bronoco's can get stronger - the COLA will be gone soon but that doesn't mean Swans went out and bought a side for 2012 - they have grown talent - you know like Kieran Jack! The only reason your spouting that now as because you know I'm right - the USA players are as American as a four and twenty pie - it's a BS comp designed to try and give your sport some international credibility when you have non on the Australian National scene! If a NRL club was given 900K more to spend on their salary cap (& to make it look like its not cheating,its called a COLA ,& dumb dumb AFL fans believe that) there would be a riot.
Its bullshit ,an unfair advantage ( & you can call it what you like ....The Moonlight in Syd allowance or whatever)its still LEGALISED cheating & not a level playing field..

Well thats a matter for other clubs to take up with the AFL but it can't be cheating if by definition it's legal - at the end of the day it doesn't alter the fact that the Swans are the BIGGEST club in Sydney!
