No argument OS are small in comparison to other sports most probably the smallest of ANY sport - but just so we are clear you are concerning that your earlier statement was a generalisation and there is an AF presence OS albeit very small and consequently there are those that care about AF OS?
i'm conceding that it was hyperbolic yes. It's like saying, pshh no one can beat the All Blacks. when obviously they can be beaten.
and im also saying the no one (and by no one i mean very few, just to be clear for your peasized brain) cares about AFL overseas, thus there is a small talent pool and this is reflected in the abysmal amateur standard of play in the PNG vs Ireland grandfinal with ~500 people in Australia attending before a regular game at the MCG.

How do you know it was "abysmal" when you have openly admitted that the game isn't "exciting"? You wouldn't be able to tell!!

No one can mark the footy all the time, even in the AFL! At least they're having a go, which is more than I can say for you! Total lack of perspective based in a complete lack of understanding of the game.

even in the AFL, im sure highlight packages of games dont include such abysmal fumbling. you usualy only see fumbling during the game, but they edit it out for the highlights i thought. right?

Not if the video producer is an amateur. They'll just grab random bits and pieces and not worry about the skill level. There's also a time factor. I think You Tube has a time limit on some video lengths, but I wouldn't know for sure as I don't have an account there.

basic logic seems to escape you.
the shorter the video the better it would have to be. a 2 minute video of an 80 minute game would only have the best stuff. what does a time limit have to do with that?

I said the video producer could be an amateur and therefore the best stuff could have been missed! To do a proper highlights package of a game requires more minutes than You Tube will allow amateur producers. That's what the time limit has to do with it! A two minute highlight video would be bullshit for AFL. It has to be a minimum of fifteen if you're covering the whole game for highlights and not focussing on certain parts as they on the news in the AFL itself.

For what it's worth I have been down to Princess Park when they were playing - saw the PNG side and the RSA side - I thought their skills weren't too bad - they obviously didn't have the accuracy with their deliveries - it was a great atmospher and they obviously enjoyed playing. But they are armatures - most had to raise money to come here and the location couldn't handle excessive crowds. But in time whether RL fans like it or not it will grow and expand - just because your not interested doesn't mean others won't!
