take a knee fumblers
take a knee

its that time again
so assume the position of servility & submission on bended knee to the juggernaut known as origin

the biggest game of football to date in 2013 is on tonight ..... & tonight will only be beaten by a 3rd & deciding game in this epic series
no one is speaking of anything else from Albury to Cooktown
I am reluctant to use the term .. but feel I must

yes .. people are .. obsessed with origin ATM
even little fumblers across the land will be gathering in their living rooms to gaze apon origins greatness
its intensity
its ferocity
everyone is in awe
it is indeed the greatest rivalry in Australian sport =D> =D> =D>

so bow down fumblers
bow down

The majority of Victorians I have spoken to about tonights SOO say they were so appauled by the violence in the last game, and lack of punishment, they will definately NOT watch tonight. I tried my best to talk them round but they just refused.

 phelpsy do I detect some bitterness?

I was there alright. It was bloody well jaaaaaaam packed baby!

Stewie there weren't many Qlders and nswelshmen there as far as I could tell. There was however a fair few English and Irish men there, I chatted to one Pom, they're all in red shirts looking annoying in the country for the lions. Overall though I'd say it was a majority melb crowd. They loved it like it was their momma, especially when the fight broke out, the crowd went into a ballistic frenzy of excitement then! :D

It was great seeing the fumblers bowing down. Really made me smile. :)

Pretty average ratings in Melbourne for game 2. Plenty of other programs out rated it. The EJ Whitten Legends Game should smash it in a couple of weeks as well.

They were all hooting and cheering at the pub last night. They seriously, as dave puts it, took a knee.

No stewie. I can assure you practically none of the folk were my fine countrymen. There were some filthy QLDers about though, in their moroon outfits. But only about 6 or 7 of these. Then there wouldve been a few un suited up NSWelshmen and other QLDers in the crowd but def not many.

I know there was a majority of melbournites because they were kinda hooting and cheering at the wrong times, much like the sydney AFL fans . They didnt quite know when the ref made a bad decision, no chorus of boos. But you know, i took the opportunity to look around the room a few times and they were deadset glued to the action. They were collectively, as dave puts it, taking a knee

And when the fisticuffs happened they were seriously salivating and licking their chops. The whole room collectively leaned in towards the big screen, mouths agape and howling for more. It was primal and wild in there, much more intense than in any nsw pub when the biff gets goin in the footy. I felt sorry for the poor bastard melbournites who've had nothing but pinching and cheap shots for years now as a result of the AFL's dumb rules.

Yep the melbournites were bowing down last night, and fair enough, while it wasnt a close game it was a spectacle of grandeur and glorious masculinity, as it should be, untempered by some pack of confused buffoons down at AFL HQ.
