Raiderdave 31k in a stadium which has reduced seating capacity may well have convinced people to stay at home - you give many other excuses for far less (20k at Sharkes v Dragons 2013-22k in 2002). But one thing you could not deny (although I know you will). AFL has now had 1298738 people attend 36 matches. NRL has had 882652 in 48 matches. Which is an extra 400k odd more in 10 less matches. AFL will play 198 matches this year and NRL will play 192 only 6 fewer games. Again AFL will smash NRL with attendances. Even with SOO and reps you'll be SMASHED, so much for the NRL handball!

Well this thread turned out like it usually does for the dopey one, fancey believing anything coming from a Murdoch rag.

Same mob that said souths wouldn't get 15k against the Storm (real crowd 32,000 +)

Same mob that said under 10k would watch the roosters v eels on a Monday night (real crowd 18,000 +)

The same mob that said 30,000 wouldn't turn up at souffs v dog (real crowd was 51,000 +)

Are we seeing a pattern here yet?
