ANZ Stadium is ours on Friday night 21/09/12. Move aside NRL, we are the biggest show in Sydney during Preliminary Finals week.

Sydney vs Collingwood / West Coast is going to be huge.

Sydney in the Grand Final, wow, imagine the tv ratings for that... HUGE I tell ya.

Look out NRL :P

Nice Swans V Collingwood in the Prelim = Collingwood in the GF. You better pray that WCE can beat us in Melbourne this week.

you fu.cking bet welching ******

its the VFL that got ... moved aside .. by the NRL
the VFL wanted Sat night ..

oh we have to have ANZ on Sat because our minor premiers have to have a longer recovery
the NRL said ... really :-k

FUC>K OFF ..... we've got it Saturday
so the poor old VFL had to change their system .. giving the lower ranked side a distinct advantage & a far smaller crowd will show up ... on the much less desirable Friday Night ... because of peak hour traffic ..., late night shopping ..& interstate fans unable to travel on a Friday
its definetly the booby prize

and
If the Raiders get beaten this Sat nite
the VFL prelim final in Sydney will be an even paler shadow to the NRL one the following night

Canterbury V South Sydney & an 84,000 sellout... ... jesus 8-[
does it get any bigger
will Sydneysiders talk about anything else all week :-k

I for one of course hope our boys make it through against the Dogs ... the hype down here if they do , the likes of which haven't been seen for 20 years
but if they don't
the silver lining is the biggest pre lim final in History
a win win ....

NRL>> VFL
cue these lil fellas

Thousands of discounted tickets were on offer for any NRL club member and still they fall short of their target 50k on a beautiful sunny day in Sydney.

What for stating fact the NRL offered thousand of NRL club members heavily discounted tickets and free public transport yet still failed to crack 50k on a wonderful sunny day in Sydney?

Look us AFL fans unlike you lot, are passionate about our game and we will attend in huge numbers whatever the day/night.

Keep your pathetic excuses for low crowds to yourselves. You lot are the ones that need the excuses week in week out to try to explain the lack of passion in your so called fans that results in such abysmal crowds week after week, even in finals.

Meanwhile, Friday night preliminary final weekend tv ratings should be interesting.

Sydney vs Collingwood / West Coast

vs

Melbourne vs Manly / North Queensland

Which game will the people of Sydney tune in to?

Ah ...if its Melbourne V Manly in the NRL it will attract .... 600K plus Sydney veiwers alone
if its the Cowboys it might be 450K with no sydney side involved
the Swines against .. well anyone who they play it won't matter .. up against the afore mentioned NRL at the same time on TV
it won't get to 100K

I can see bearsy cheering for the Cowboys on Friday already

Swans V Collingwood/WCE could rate 1.8 million + nationally it should destroy any competition on friday week. With a melbourne V cowboys game on it could get 200-300K on FTA from sydney alone and get 450k+ on foxtel.
