Hmmmmmm! Not too happy with this call, Xman. Marn Grook was played over a wide area as has been proven. That qualifies as "across Australia" and even you agreed. Dunce was trying to press that I was claiming that it was played absolutely everywhere and I never made any such claim. Nothing is played absolutely everywhere.

Yes Xman, even you agreed! Although nsw I hate to tell you this *hugs nsw* but I never pressed that you were claiming it was played everywhere, I just pressed you were claiming it was played across the country and referred to the accurate and commonly used definition of the term across. As 'special' as you are nsw, I wont put up with lies about me.

I was just testing the extremeties of this argument before making my decision.

Well I'll be frank with you now Xman. Close your eyes nsw you dont wanna be seeing this.

You've now fukked up on two accounts. Firstly, we all know Marngrook was not played across the country prior to Cooks arrival, otherwise there'd be many many more sightings of it in locations 1000's of kilometres from eachother. So you fukked up making the right decision there. Then, you failed to give any empathy whatsoever to our local simpleton/village idiot nswvfl by giving him the win, the charity which he so desperately needs and functions on.

Really poor effort here Xman, really poor fence sitting decision which has resulted in a double loss. Dear oh dear oh my, what a crock this BS files is turning out to be.

Bla bla bla, cry cry cry.

There was doubt on both sides. The decision was correct.

His claim was shown to be ambiguous because of the diffent ways the word across can be used in context. His context was unclear.

Yooouuuuu idiot! Then why the hell was this file taken up then? As i said, this file was decided before it began. And here's a tip you seem to have forgotten. Across means from one side to the other. I would have been happy if he could've found some evidence of the game being played even 3/4 the way across the country but the tool could only find evidence of it in a very small section tucked away in the south eastern corner of this massive country.

Working with imbeciles and knobjockeys here. I hope you dont still expect us to take this file seriously Xman. Seems like you're losing cred on all sides of the fence here. Tsk tsk tsk [-X

The file was taken up regarding a claim that included a number of facets. How was I to know you two had completely different interpretations of "across"?

I'm not a mind reader!

Well in fact, as I proved, NSW had exactly the same interpretation of across as I did. You were the one who posed on alternative and completely incorrect definition to save his hide. nsw gave his game away when he said it would be "possible" that it was played in other locations too, to prove his claim. Tsk tsk tsk, Xman. You're not a mind reader and you're not an effective adjudicator either. My my my, what are we to do with you? :?

Well in fairness though its plain and clear to see you saved nsw from a BS point. Here that nsw? You were saved 'special one'. Its not so bad after all eh?

The BS files, an potentially good joke directed and ruined by a poor bastard in need of a labotomy =P~ .

Looks like Dunce is whining yet again. I proved that Marn Grook was played in a lot of areas in Victoria, and that a very similar game (simply known by a different name) was played in Central Australia. That qualifies as "across Australia". Just because it wasn't seen anywhere else doesn't mean it wasn't played. Ever heard of the analogy "If a tree falls in the forest...."?

NSW I'm not whining, in fact I wanted you to win for a while there. For the last time Pultja is not the same, it had minor differences in the rules so it doesnt qualify. And the tree falling in the woods trash simply dont cut it. Australia was colonised in different places at very different points in time due to the harshness of the interior etc. During this process numerous detailed accounts of Aboriginal life and culture have been written from 'across' the entire country. Marngrook wasnt recorded anywhere else but in the southeast corner. Therefore, your claim was, quite simply, BS. I hate to say it but you're a simpleton and its for the best we dont beat around the bush protecting you and pretending you're not nsw.
