Summary: this is a tough one and a decision will upset members no matter which way the verdict goes. However I am not willing to take the easy road and sit on the fence (although that does sound painful). To be consistent I need to consider the context of the claim which suggested that no AFL international has been played in front of a crowd over 9k. Cos did a fine job to find a number of examples of where an AFL international played in front of a crowd over this size. However clearly the crowd was not present to see this event in isolation, but rather to see the main event of that meeting which was another higher profile game. Therefore, considering the context of the claim, it is still correct.

Verdict: Best and Smartest point awarded to the claimant ParraEelsNRL.
