This is a very inept discussion by those who have only recently become a part of this site. Problem is folks, the fight club is about fighting, which from time to time includes abusing another poster in a light hearted way i.e. "Topper is a baboon". We all know sticks and stones can break our bones and names cannot hurt us right?

Now we've already discussed the issues you both bring up before you arrived cos and topper. Ask TLPG for reference. He stormed out of the fight club as a result of the rules which were set. His perojative. What isnt aloud are threats and discriminatory abuse. Otherwise the fight club is for those with thick skin who dont mind some banter and having a go at each other.

To your point about not being able to rely on the truth of mine and others posts, this is simply your opinion Topper. An example: Fact is our site administrator knows for fact that I have played aussie rules. You feel you have proven this to be wrong and try to post as fact that i havent when in FACT you have never met me so how the 'FACT' could you 'facting' know? In fact topper you should be taking a looong look in the mirror and reading your own words my friend.

Beaussie moderates the fight club in line with its rules and regs quite well but I think perhaps he needs to provide warnings to those who do not contribute to the fights and perhaps needs to suggest to them they may be better off posting on another board.

Topper if you cannot read one's argument, then how can you "demonstrate" that one's argument detracts "from good genuine arguments"? If you are responding to posts you cannot read then you in fact are clearly the one providing useless posts. This was my initial argument and it remains. Please do answer the question in the first sentence Topper.

As to the defamation of a code line, Beaussie is right, you all need to get a grip and realise that all the AFL posters do exactly the same thing. "Thugby", an "atrocity", a game for "rapists", you all gleefully state and agree with these comments in relation to RL and then cry "defamation" when the same gets shunted back your way.

It's the fight club, you post there and expect to have responses which are disagreeable. Those who cannot understand this and post useless spam like posts need to be warned.

Absolutely. There is absolutely no point in allowing abuse. Less abuse more fighting.
