The most watched sport on tv last yr in AUST was RL
All the excuses in the world can't change that fact . ( lol
While trotting out excuses they forget that Rl had less games
Less FTA games )

I have no issue with RL getting more cumulative ratings. It's s stat that means nothing and isnt even mentioned by any other network or sport other then the NRL

The most farked up thing is we get no FTA at all on Saturday. The majority of League fans cant watch a game on Saturday! how farked is that?????????????????????????????????????
Ooh well, we get 3 gold medal each year, Most, highest and best average . I guess We will just have to learn to live with that for the time being.

Yeah was happy when Dave Smith struck the deal for 4 x FTA games per week.
but than that deal ended up changing and CH9 sold the saturday game to FOX>

its big though not to have a FTA game on the whole of saturday..

But you cannot compare AFL AND NRL for the friday night game anymore..

NRL has 2 games on Friday night.
with the FOX pulling in big numbers for the 6pm game.
this would effect the FRIDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL standalone game

afl got more in the broardcast deal

To be fair LOL ,it gets a mention by a number of media outlets, including That ABC - graph? ring any bells? It gets a mention in the NRL annual report and maybe even gets a mention in the AFL's annual report

But it isnt compared because it's only relevant if conditions are identical
