what are you talking about F stick ?
a few empty seats .. even a few hundred .. yep thats a sellout
but 10K empty in a 55K seat venue
nup

or 15K empty in a 100K stadium
nah
no sellout there

ANZAC tests in Australia
Melbourne ANZAC test 2010 .... 29,412 AAMI park ... attendance record for this ground that still stands
Gold Coast ANZAC test 2011 ..... 26,486 Skilled park
Newcastle end of year test 2011 32,894 Ausgrid Stadium
Townsville end of year test 2012... 26,479 Dairy Farmers Stadium
Canberra ANZAC test 2013.... 25,628 Canberra Stadium

98% full for all of the top 3

100% for townsville
102% for Canberra

anything else you need help with shit for brains ?
Sellout means every available ticket is sold. Etihad have 10k of seats that are already sold and reserved for the entire year.

If the rest are then sold the game is a sellout.
Calling bullshit on that.
You're calling bullshit on facts? If you can't buy a ticket to a game, it is a sellout. Fact. The seats belonging to club members and stadium members can't be sold. If those people fail to show up, there's a vacancy in a sold-out game. For example, Thursday's game at the MCG is a sellout. Can't buy tickets to it. If (when) it gets 10k less than capacity, it doesnt change the fact that the full allocation of tickets was sold out.

Sellout = all tickets to a match are sold out
Capacity Crowd = every seat in the stadium is filled on the day.

How do you ********* have such a hard time understanding this?

But this is all deflection anyway. We will literally double your pathetic ANZAC day crowd. Thoughts?

Already shown free tickets have been given away
They are not free if you have to buy something to get them.

The AFL use ANZAC Day as an opportunity to take the greatest game of all into New Zealand and respect their services. The nRL uses it to prop up the ailing Melbourne Storm right after the AFL game, trying to get football fans to go and watch that shite sport by offering Collingwood and Essendon members discounts to the match. The nRL are that desperate for the Storm to get good crowds, but they just never will. Melbourne doesn't like nRL.

ignoramus  if 5k of that 10k don't show up it only takes 5k from 25k members allocated seating not to show and 45k is still a sellout.

100k at the MCG is made up of roughly 25k MCC members, 25k AFL members, 25k Club members and 25k general admission. For big games the general admission sells out. If 3.3k from each allocation doesn't show a sellout is 90k.

This is the MCGs twitter response when asked why there were only 84k at the Carlton v Coll game when it was a sellout

@MCG: For those interested, breakdown of non-attendees at #aflpiesblues: Coll/Carl members 6k, MCC 4k, AFL 2.6k, Public 2.5k and Corporate 700.

How dumb are you for not realising that the nRL just use the Warriors to prop up the Storm? If the nRL were serious about NZ, then they would let them host a game, that way there'd be a game in both Australia and New Zealand like the AFL have. But they're more interested in propping up the Storm. For shame. [-X

25% of seats empty ... & its apparently a sellout

10k isnt 25% of 55k

Etihad a second tier is almost exclusively medallion club and access one which is pre paid reserved seating. IT ISN'T FOR SALE! It rarely fills for home and away games.

Add to that club members also have reserved seating in the ground level. 5k missing from both and you have a 45k sellout.
