There was a claim made that there are cumulative figures for TV ratings which cover every single part of Australia. I asked for a link to prove these exist. What, are we just going to take your word for it?

Oh dear...

no one is disputing that neilsen and reucom arent reputable. What we are disputing is how thorough their sampling is. So if you can show us a link that shows they are accurate and thorough please do.

Still waiting for an answer on the 10m behind to 15m in front over the last 5 years. You know in sport/business/politics that would be called a significant trend.

You dont need a link to show that there are many more people living in regional NSW/QLD/ACT than in the other states. Even using Topper maths the AFL only has a 15% average on the 5 city metro ratings and that is excluding SOO and Tests. What do you reckon happens when the regional do get added -the NRL strolls to the lead.

Thee view of the AFL crew is like you have an election but you dont count a couple of the outlying poll booths because you weren't there to do the counting.

I've already told you that the AFL began airing on two different digitial channels, on both ch7 and ch10, within the last few years. The NRL has only been shown on Nine.

Ive seen a number of media reports claiming the AFL aduiences had reduced. However closer inspection showed the reports completely ignored the ratings for the second digitial channels. Ive even seen OZ tam figures quoting only ch10 figures and ignoring 1HD which made up about 1/5th of the audience.

you think a reputable company would allow faulty stats with their name attached to them to be published ?

no

For the final time, no one is disputing their reputation, just the accuracy of the report for the purpose of gauging full national interest in sports. If they were sampled for that purpose they would cover all regions of the country evenly. They don't. They know it, we know it, you know it.

Until you can show they do STFU

Xman, there is no 25 million turnaround. The AFL beat the NRL by 13 million in 2011. The AFL is not 15 million behind. Why seek an explanation for a statistic that is fake to beging with?

Its amazing how when asked to provide evidence of the ratings figures you claim you avoid the subject and burp away.
