It's disappointing that Sydney's crowd will again be ruined by rain this Friday night.

What was it that KE was saying about Sydney's weather always being perfect compared to Melbourne's?

No, that was the crowd they expected to show up. I agree it would have been that if the weather was perfect.

Etihad has a huge section where the seats are reserved and paid for for the entire year. If those fans don't go others can't take their place.

Etihad had only one " real " sellout in 2012
guess what sport achieved this ?

No, they have many sellouts. That one exhibition game was a novelty so people who buy access one seating showed up.

ah no
all the other crowds quoted were ... expected
the Swines one .... just had 35K

anyway
it was never going to be anything but a " swines " sellout .. of 27K

20% of seats empty .... 3500 members won't show
3500 seats will remain .. unsold

but magically ... it will be a sellout

what crap

Again you fail to understand the difference between sell out and full capacity.

hmmmm
so a 45K crowd at Etihad
about 11.5K shy of capacity
5K members don't turn up out of 10K members there are ... reasonable estimate

meaning what **********
thats right .... 5K seats available to the public .... unsold

end of

Have you ever been to etihad? There are club members, AFL members and there are medallion club members. Club members would probably turn up for 8.5 out of 10 games. Medallionlub and AFL members would be less. Look at the map see second link and you can see roughly how many seats are taken up by these sort of members.

http://www.medallionclubmembership.com/#benefit
http://www.austadiums.com/stadiums/stad ... php?id=120

You can see why the most this stadium ever gets is about 45K in it. AFL games at the G often get 70-80 K so you would at least get 56K in etihad once every now and then for the AFL. But it is these membership packages that stops this.

Again, how are you having this much difficulty understanding a basic concept? It's fascinating and hilarious.

Sellout: All available tickets sold. Can't buy a ticket to the game if you wanted to.
Capacity Crowd: All seats filled.

For example: "While State of Origin 1 was a sellout, a capacity crowd was not achieved"

300 shy of capacity
as opposed to 12,300 shy for a lot of fumbling bumbleathon played there considered sellouts by ********* in here

44K is not a sellout at Etihad
even with a crowd this size at least 4K members would be in attendance out of the 10K the venue has
even if you add another 6K

& we have ova 6K seats available to the public ... that weren't sold
end of
