I did notice they were copping a whipping in the first half and I must admit, I was salivating at them turning the corner during this match so to speak by showing us all their basketcase colours. Is the game available on the internet stewie?
KE still thinks the power are a basket case despite being 5-0 and beating some of lasts years finalists.

Yeah a few suprises there like West Coast who many picked preseason as premiers, Adelaide who many had in the 8. While teams like Esendon and Port who most picked to finish in the bottom half, have played excellent footy so far. This season is so open anyone could win the premiership.

In the NRL we have the Storm. Who most bookies would have them in about $2 for premiers (IMO), any better odds and I might have to slip a 50 on those sly dogs to go back to back. I will show the ladder tomorrow or Tuesday. But clearly the NRL will have most of the worst teams out of both comps.

Do west coast , north and saints all in bottom 6??? North have been unlucky and should move up. Saints I think are struggling and may languish down the bottom. Suns could win 6 or 7 now I think so who knows. Will be interesting.

Wow pies. Lemme help you out you poor deluded nutter. If I could get some odds on it I'd put all I own that brissie, gws, melbourne, GC and the mighty western bulldogs couldnt make the 8 let alone win the premiership.

Perhaps it was an innocent 'turn of phrase' error on your part though. Perhaps you meant to say

Unfortunately though, even this would be a fairly delusional statement. The likes of richmond, north melbourne, fremantly, carlton and stkilda all look ordinary again this year and not a chance of winning the premiership.

Comon pies, lets think things through before posting eh? :) Like you used to :)

You mustn't have watched much footy KE, Richmond, Fremantle, Carlton and North have all looked quite good mate, just ask their fans they would all say the are a chance to make top 4 and all of their fans would be banking on them to make top 8. You might as well stop commentating on something you know little about.

Surprise surprise, their fans think they can make top 4.

I've seen plenty of footy. Im not suggesting these teams cant make the 8, one or two of them prob will. But to think they've got a shot at winning the comp or even making the GF this year would be delusional.

Comon pies. SAy it aint so.

This season is extremely open one of these teams could win the grand final. One in five chance but still a chance. North are lucky not to be 4 wins including unlucky loses to probably the two best teams by a couple of points, Freo had undefeated Essendon dead in the water before they did a Lazarus and only looked bad in one game in Tassy. Richmond could have been 4 wins after losing by a point to Freo. Carlton have been in front in all of their games deep into the 3rd quarter if not into the last quarter but have only managed 2 out of 5, they are looking the goods in my opinion with their new/3 time premiership winning coach. I would say that all of these teams are looking better then Port at the moment, they have just been a bit unlucky.

Geez north are unlucky not to have a few mire wins. If I got good odds I chuck a lazy 100 on them for making the grand final. Anyone can win on the day ??

The AFL won’t let the GWS team fail, that’s true. They’ll continue to compromise an already compromised comp with preferential draft picks and salary cap concessions. They’ll continue to gouge the local tax payers of Blacktown and Canberra for every public dollar they can get. They’ll continue to pay for advertorials (‘battle of the bridge will be bigger than Origin’) in the local papers to give the impression that anyone cares.
