This is not about media deals ,
It's a ratings thread .
& in 2016 RL outrated AFL by millions .
With less games .
There's no ifs no buts
Thems the facts .
Someday you will have to learn to accept that fact .
It's Irrefutable
Sure, however Terry used the 'bottom line' comment. Well the bottom line on ratings is they are used to gauge revenue, and we all know who won that. If you dont want to discuss revenue then stop Terry talking about bottom lines

no idea. Tally's are irrelevant as a meaningful comparison if the scheduling and number of rounds arent similar. Of course its amazing how youve jumped of ratings for games like all 9 finals,
If RL is more popular on TV why didnt it win a single final when all 9 of the were a reasonable comparison?
The battle of Bull Run, Gettysburg, Chickamaunga. Great victories but the Southeners lost that war too.
Season tally clearly isnt the war, otherwise your code would earn more from media. I wonder which Gf the networks would have preferred? The AFL GF averaging over 4m over 4 hours in a ratings dead zone, which allowed them to still get decent ratings on Sunday night, or the NRL GF which averaged less on Sunday night, and they got close to nothing on Saturday arvo.
Sorry champs. AFL 4 gold, NRL 1 gold

I guess you can say..
some games some weeks
the scheduling helps and other weeks it does not..
In terms of revenue though
the reason AFL does get more simply comes down to more Advertising opportunities..
Just so you know AFL Boys
the NRL GRAND FINAL in the 1st half had 2 adverts..
The AFL is more national than the NRL and these are the benefits, home games into VIC, SA, WA, & VIC. However what the AFL cant do is show a single game that appeals to all markets like RL do with the SOO. Having said that we still outrated it this year.
2 ads in 40 minutes. CH9 must envy Ch7 with the AFL GF

It means every RL fan is itersted in the SOO because it represents your national competition. Even the AFL GF only really appeals to the fans from each team, same as the NRL GF, which is why they rate les.
Can I suggest you stay out of discussion between other members? You dont seem to have the comprehension or patience to participate

Ok, you can comment, but understand my failure to acknowledge your opinion is based on your lack of understanding of the topic at hand, and lack of value in general

Which commercial free to air broadcaster would seriously want this shit? Even SBS wants out of broadcasting this rubbish. Those ratings are so embarrassing.
