GF for A League you would think would sell out, everyone loves a bandwagon GF in the A League lol
Warriors very impressive
St Kilda, well SUNS do not bring fans so that was always going to draw 20k and lower
Melbourne City Vs Western United 7,691 last weekend crowd
FYI Western United are a Melbourne based team also so that crowd it hilarious for a semi final! the band wagon must have been a little distracted that weekend
GF Sold out
appartently day 1 was Members where 20k tickets were sold
day 2 remaining tickets sold in 30mins
(Where have these fans been all season>> Average attendance for A League this season sits 8950
with this Sell out of 29k approx (it may nudge 9k)

its a local deby Melbourne City to face Melbourne Victory.
Victory the Collingwood or broncos of the A league makes a bit more sense, would had been funny is it was western united vs a NZ or NSW team

true! Soccer will only ever be a small sport in Aus, no money and empty stadiums, any kid that is half decent will head off to the country where he might have some connection with through heritage, middle easten, europe or UK where the sports dominate.
no player that is of value will choose to play in the A league

So the Bulldogs V Parramatta at ACCOR stadium next Monday ( biggest NRL club rivalry in Sydney , so ... biggest fullstop in that city

)
is on track to maybe break the home & away stand alone crowd record
set by Bulldogs .... only 7 weeks ago
60K is just about a given
65,305 is the record
70K is possible
that will have the Dogs averaging over 40K at Homebush
wow

Biggest stand alone home and away crowd at Accor Stadium is the AFL Swans/Pies with 72,393 in 2003.
LU reports have Pax for the game at under 37,000 with a week to go. You aint getting 70,000 if thats the case, and 60k is doubtful. We''ll see I guess.

Im sure you believe it to be true.
I wasnt there 21 years ago, and I have some doubts on your ability to recollect anything that far back without severe bias.

Your bias is showing again Sooks. By the way: how'd ya go with highly respected NRL journalist Phil Rothfield pal? Did ya get the Allegiant crowd figure all sorted? I haven't seen any apologies or corrections from you sooks. What's the go pal??
