Lol yep
It's what they do
It's all they have ..cwowds cwowds cwowds .
Lol
Us Rl fans accept with no argument that AFL gets far bigger crowds .
Yet when it comes to ratings ..like this thread ..even after facts are presented to show how RL is smashing AFL..you get the dumb cultists arguing it's not right ..1.5 blah blah .

Therein lies the difference between the two fan bases .
because crowds are directly comparable and easily measured. Because head to head games on TV mostly favour the AFL. Because the remaining games which result in the NRL winning the cumulative ratings are lower for reasons relating to the schedule.

I have no issue with the fact the cumulative ratings favour RL. I have an issue with what this comparison actually means in terms of popularity

The fumblers are a bit touchy about the nose diving Aflol ratings .

Not our fault .
Not Roy's fault for quoting official ratings numbers .

Lol
All the ranting & foot stamping won't change the fact that on tv Aflol fans are turning off ..in large numbers .

Regionals and Gem still to come from yesterday but it should be around 2.9million from just 4 matches . While 3.6m will well and truly pull them up . That's from 9 matches. Oh dear, that is embarrassing. :(/ :(/ :(/

Here we go again.

AFL rule twenty two dash one.
whenever experiencing any difficulty turn the argument to crowds
errr you lost the ratings too, yet used soo as the excuse :[]
People aren't so keen to watch a match on TV
when the six best players are out, especially many of the neutral viewers. ](*,)

nor are neutrals keen to watch the worst side in the AFL (again) play a semi-finalist from last year at their home ground :)))

Geez we are going against the trend of downward spiralling ratings that the southern abortion of a sport has embraced enthusiastically .

Yep. And all analysts are saying that more and more people each year are watching sport on alternative devices. That means RL is actually being watched by many many more ppl this year than ever before.

Have you compared the ratings to all previous seasons? If not you cannot claim 'ever before' [-X
