Oh my. There are still 8 games shown on tv. You could have no clubs in Australia in rl and show all games here. The ratings would still reflect how popular the game is here on tv.
Oh my
How can you be so dumb
Yes there's 8 games shown
But one of those teams home fans are in NZ
How can you not understand this
The home fans ratings are not counted in the AUSt ratings
As has been explained over & over yet you ignore
If collingthorne play west coast in Melb ...the west coast home fan ratings are counted .
If Souths play warriors in Syd
The Warriors home fan ratings are not counted .
Have you been on the metho
All logic has left this debate .
If Collingwood played west coast and wa was not part of Australia I would not be counting wa figures to boast about ratings in Australia !!! Why ... because wa would be a different country !!! It's that simple !

Gold fish bowl has replaced dil and confirmation bias it seems. It's still 8 games being shown on to in Australia. If you want to argue most watched or ratings in Australasia go ahead and include New Zealand . If you want to argue how well a game rated in Australia then use ratings for australia.
The fact rl has supporters in another country is great and glorify that all you like .... but if you are arguing most popular in Australia you can't use those figures. And it's still 8 games, 16 teams being shown; that one team has support in another country is irrelevant.

So Australia play nz in the ACB's one day series ... shown on nine and sky nz ... you don't count the figures in nz figures.
Or if Australia play India ... you don't see channel 9 count ratings in India !!!
Or Waratahs play storm (South African team ??) Do fox count South African ratings ?

Fred - God knows we have heard this imbecility on a daily loop all year. As I have repeatedly said on this thread - believe whatever you want to believe to soothe your prejudice but let it go lest you continue to look like a dullard.
As I have also repeatedly said - please start your own ratings thread and add and delete whatever you like if that makes you happy. When Wookie does his ratings he adds NZ ratings and shows totals with and without them - seems fair to me.
Deep breaths Fredo, park your bias in neutral pal and move on for everybody's sake.

Lol ... it just amazes me something so simple is so hard to understand .... rating in Australia mean people watching in Australia ... 8 games ... 16 teams. Yes, there are people watching in nz.... but that doesn't impact Australian ratings or the amount of teams playing.
I'll point to rugby union when they play a South African side.

Fred, we know pal - we know. You can recite the same babble over and over as you do but it won't change the facts. Do you even remember saying this repeatedly or is your mind a blank canvass every 90 seconds?
For gods sake put reminder notes on your fridge and refer to your fridge before posting. Do you remember I have given you this advice before??? Do you often forget where you parked your car? Move on.

Well first of all I'm right. That's an indisputable fact. I keep saying it because the 15 side excuse keeps getting peddled. It's quite simple yet rl people pushing this seem to either not get it or are recalcitrant.

Sat TV #AFL #AFLGiantsEagles 7mate 159k (Syd 42k Per 117k)
That's right, the giants rated more on FTA than the storm did (30k) for their last Friday night FTA game
This season just keeps delivering!!!!!!!!!

NRL regional estimate is going to be short i suspect. North Queensland/Newcastle/Canberra games are rating ahead of norms.
maybe, but it wont make up the difference

Estimated numbers that have been established based on seasons of regional ratings for both codes. The only way the NRL game could outrate the AFL game is if the regional figure was 305k, well above the metro figure of 223k. I've never seen regionals outrate metros, ever, let alone by that much. Then the AFL game doesnt even include FTA ratings from Brisbane, and was shown against another AFL game.
In fact the AFL in Melbourne alone comfortably outrated the NRL in Sydney and brisbane combined.
