you just claimed in the bottom line is the thing that counts. You are totally correct. The AFL earn more from TV per season and from recent reports Ch7 are asking more per minute during both GF's.
the AFL rated up to 50% more than the NRL for some finals. Almost 70% more on Fox. Please tell me how that shows the NRL is more popular?

Im talking about the NRL, not 3 games of state v state RL. Of course you know this, but usual you run back to SOO whenever the comps are compared. You have to, because without RL SOO the NRL is a distant second

3 games of RL shouldn't be needed to define your entire NRL season. But on here it is, for obvious reasons

Lol. Face it, the AFL have won 8 finals games on a row. All of them a fair and even comparison of one game v another under similar conditions.
Comparing the entire season with differences in the number of rounds, games, and schedules is meaningless by comparison
Are you serious or delirious pal????? So do you think Coles or Woollies look at the bottom line or hand pick their best performing brands and proclaim victory?? It's the bottom line pal, always was, always will be. The fumblers finals series has been good to them. The NRL's overall package will win the day - that's what ya call facts ya nong!!!
Lol, bottom line is the AFL earn more per season. Thanks Terry
An extra 20 Pay Tv games & around 15 more FTA games a year for 30 -40M

Talk about delusional

The_Wookie wrote:updated ratings estimates as of this morning - Rugby League has a clear lead over the AFL at this point that cant be overcome this weekend.
Note these ratings are professional competitions only - a further 825,000 WAFL, 768,000 SANFL, and 1.7 million VFL FTA ratings are not included for australian football while 1,044,000 QRL FTA are not included for Rugby League. To make it more complicated there isnt enough public data to even remotely guess at figures for the NSW Cup and Holden Cup.

No foxtel broadcasts on a Monday night were below 200k. There's a few in your list in the low 100's.

But but but like usual pissycat
AFL H&A season. AFL had full control of its fixture
Nrlol deal
C9 & fox have control of the schedule of games as well as exclusive games
Deal covers the 4 nations, H&A season, RLWC, inbred cup SOO that is estimated to be worth 10 to 20 percent of the total rights deal.
Either way you want to use your but buts, the nrlol is number 2.
You cannot change reality!

Lol
FUMBLEBALL thinking .
Let's exclude RL games that are part of the season & the highest rating .
When SOO is on you fumblers take great delight in pointing out how it affects the crowds & ratings for 6 weeks .
Yet when the positives of that are pointed out suddenly you don't want to know about it .
You can't have it both ways .
SOO is part of our season
It's part of our media deal .
Also a big part of our ratings .
You mob don't like it bad luck .
You don't get to choose which games are included in our ratings .
We have a rep season .
You don't .
Bad luck .
We win in 2016
Gold for RL
Gold gold gold
