7.5 .....one team must have been playing on their own lol. In Australia there were 8 matches watched. That's a fact. That there are people also watching in another country does not impact how popular rl is in this country.

Next we will have the ACB come out and claim nz, Indian, English, Sri Lankan etc when Australia play those countries in the local World Series one day comp each year.
8 matches played but ratings for just 7 1/2.
Idiotic logic this. You only have to look at ratings for the average game to see fans will watch games involving any team, not just their own. Look at last night, over 400k in Melbourne watched a game involving teams from Adelaide and Sydney. Plus it ignores Warriors fans who live in Australia.

Just give the excuses a rest for one minute FFS

your eactly right LOL(1st time?). The audience of the 16th nrl team would have watched both thurday and Fridays matches, But the NRL would have been denied those ratings .Then for last nights PTV match the paytv ratings for 1 of the NRL clubs would of denied.

BUT but but not Australian ,not fair, not fair (major dummy spit) not fair, International, Internatonal , not fair (stamp feet pull out hair, hold breath).

We all know though this isn't what happens in the real word. In the real world the ratings for all 16 clubs go towards making Rugby League No.1 for yet another year!

So your complaint comes back to getting upset because NZ ratings for every NRL game arent included, irrespective of whether the warriors play. So it's not really 7.5 games at all, it's 8 games in Australia, just like the AFL is 9 games in Australia. NZ ratings are irrelevant if you are comparing Australia's favourite sport.

But whatever, makes little difference adding NZ given how small their population is and how few follow RL anyway.

Actually as you can see, it does make a difference. With the ratings from the Warrior included we would have won already. Though, if we want to use your pretend world logic. We will win anyway, it will just take a bit longer.

I gather you've got a source for this claim...care to share it?

If you want to argue most watched/popular in Australia you can only use ratings for Australia. It really is that simple.

But it's true pussy. People arguing how popular rl is in Australia using ratings that use nz figures is ridiculous

Were talking about the NRL. The NRL has 16 clubs but If were only talking about the NRL in Australia then were only talking about 15 club.

And it's straight forward! the NZ Warriors are the NRL's 16th club They are a New Zealand Team and along with there fans are Situated in New Zealand.

Nearly every time the nrlol and AFL go head to head in games the AFL flogs the nrlol. Yet you always seem to ignore that and dribble out your but but excuses

Oh my. There are still 8 games shown on tv. You could have no clubs in Australia in rl and show all games here. The ratings would still reflect how popular the game is here on tv.

Oh my
How can you be so dumb
Yes there's 8 games shown
But one of those teams home fans are in NZ
How can you not understand this
The home fans ratings are not counted in the AUSt ratings

As has been explained over & over yet you ignore
If collingthorne play west coast in Melb ...the west coast home fan ratings are counted .

If Souths play warriors in Syd
The Warriors home fan ratings are not counted .

Have you been on the metho
All logic has left this debate .

The fumblers here have very low cognitive function and comprehension skills. They get into the goldfish bowl every day chanting their continually destroyed logic. It's like dealing with a pack of rabies infected hyenas.

RL won last years ratings battle - Fact. Fox and Ch. 9 count ratings in the home markets of 15 of it's teams V 18 for Fox and Ch. 7 in the Australian Fumbling League - Fact.

Fumblers - please see your local vet for medication.
