As for 170k....oh dear

but but .... but but but

but but

but but but ....

when will the drivel stop with this lot

the only place they can get a crowd is in Melbourne

Perth ... 7K below capacity
Adelaide ..... 11K below .. for a derby !!

Sydney ... F me , no one gives a shit
SE Qld ... its even worse

Canberra .. they have to fudge their crowds

the decline is outta control....
As far as I remember, but correct me if Im wrong here, 40k in Adelaide, and 35k in Perth were both sellouts, both outside Melbourne, and over double the average NRL crowd.

Is that correct? Help me out here Dave.

is that a first ?....
how exactly have they manipulated numbers?

Ive already proved you can have more games but less crowds, despite greater support. Its all about where you new games are located. Interesting how you failed to contribute to that thread :-k
by claiming a figure is a record .. but not qualifying that with the fact 3 extra games have been played to achieve this figure , & if these extra games hadn't been played it would in fact

not be a record at all ....

oh & you couldn't prove the sky is blue
So 1 million isnt the highest 3rd round total ever? Hmmmm, is that what youre saying?

If I cant prove it why havent you explained how my theory is wrong? I wonder why? :D

You know Raiderdave has lost when he claims the crowds were fudged.

When will he stop with the "but but but the crowds were fudged!"

What a sad, sore loser.

how can a game be a sellout if there are 7K empty seats at one game .. Perth
& 11K at the other in Adelaide
one game was 20% below capacity & the other 25%

the only way both games could have sold out , is if thousands & thousands .... of members .. didn't turn up :-k
making my point about VFL memberships

that they are a sham
Valid

so what is it cockhead
a sellout
or VFL memberships are the greatest con there is ?

not technically ... no

its smoke & mirrors
the VFL was averaging 40K a game after 24 games in 2010... 960K total

if you took 112K (3X present average) off the 1.08 Mill total so far this year
we have 896K
your.... real round 3 total

your game is shrinking .... its there for all to see , you've increased your game number ... but your total attendance & average .. is reducing

lol, yea, 70,000 at the G yesterday in pouring rain was all smoke and mirrors. Or maybe they were just there on their way to lunch to talk about Rugby League, aye Dave.

Face it Dave, the AFL reached 1million spectators in 3 rounds, then nRL hasn't reached that after SIX. Yours is a minnow television sport, and with Thursday, Sunday and Monday night games becoming the norm, this emphasis on ratings over crowds will only increase.

Next year 2 AFL teams move into a brand new 50,000 seat CBD stadium (with 3,000 standing room aswell). This year Geelong's capacity grows to over 30k. In 5 years 2 Perth teams move into a 60k seat stadium. The future looks bright for AFL. That you can't see that (or don't want to) is telling.

Raiderdave sees what he wants to see. He's probably one of those ******* that thinks the other person can't see him if he covers his own eyes with his hands.

2010 average after round 3 39,326 total 943824. At least get that right and then you cant even get the total correct for the AFL this year its 1.008 million. Come on give up the numbers.

I counter your argument by subtracting just the GC suns and GWS home games which there have been 4 so I will leave in the smallest of these 11K to make it 24 games. So thats 22K, 14K and 13K. Total 59K 1.008 take away 59K = 949,000 or still bigger then 2010.

At least get the stats right, you are taking away from your own argument by getting them so wrong all the time.

Bingo! =D> =D>

Subtract the new teams and the AFL are ahead.

Add the new teams, which are new fans and deserve to be counted, and the AFL is growing significantly. More than 1m, or nearly a third of the NRLs yearly attendance, in 3 rounds!

Wow, just wow!! =D>
