10,412

Canterbury's lowest crowd this year.
Intense Rain >> # Warragamba Dam is at 98%

Geelong's Stadium >> looks so much bigger than 32k
Leroy wouldnt it make more sense to play the games with those sort of numbers over in paramatta or SFS as they are smaller but much newer and assumed batter venues also what about getting to those venues as a suporter?
Canterbury are the only club that suits this venue>> Canterbury Bankstown and districts surround Olympic Pk
They cannot help the rain conditions Sydney is getting..

IF they played this at Belmore (there Suburban Home Ground they would of got less than 10k as there is less undercover seating.

Yes Commbank and SFS totally outdo Olympic

Getting to OLYMPIC PK (you swap at Lidcombe Train Station and get a direct line to Olympic)
Parking is also available in the Area
wouldnt the games be best played at the new SFS then in the city where all train lines meet. youll never get a perfect situation but it would have to be the best on offer plus there would have to be a quota of games required to play at the new venue?
10k games at the home busy would have to be costing money not making when venue, staff and facilities hire and consumables use are taken in to account?

I beg to differ sooks. I have repeatedly cited the difference between the Allegiant stadium crowd for the LA Raiders game V the official figure that was on the same list that you cited for the NRL. I have repeatedly asked your opinion. You have repeatedly ignored this.
You have provided zero citations for anything. and until you do I dont care what your opinion is. I have two official figures. The NRL one is the one I use until i know what the discrepancy is,
You also routinely place the NRL and PVL under forensic scrutiny. Mainly negative. Something you don't do for your beloved sport.
Thats not true at all. But people see what they want to. The problem with this is partly that the NRL is doing more things and making more claims that can be examined on twitter than most other codes at present. I go through reports and material all the time, and not always on twitter.
You are renowned for this. You are called out for it on your own site on a daily basis.
Twitter is not my site, and I have more support on there than the minority of league folks who feel aggrieved by a post i make,
You are called our for it on league unlimited. You are called out for it here. You are called out for it everywhere you inhabit.
Yeah league unlimited i expect it. And here i expect anything i say to be automatically gainsayed by the three of you regardless of its merits
You are an AFL fanboy. Own it. Until you do you will always be called what you are. A hypocrite.

Laughable stuff sooks!!!!!!!!!!! For a start the number for the NFL game is on your own site pal. You've cited it yourself lolololololol. And you'd want to have support on your twitter site.............you go on that many blocking frenzies you've turned the joint into aflindustry lolololol!!!!

Go well pal.
isnt it funny Terrance you lot need to run with cooked numbers NRL ignoring the official numbers :(/

The Bulldogs fanbase stretches from the inner southwest , Canterbury
to liverpool ...
30kms
Homebush is a perfect place for them to play
stick to stuff you know about

'which is essentially

nothing

nope for south sydney for sure. canterbury however no.
Souths were paid to play at OLYMPIC PARK (rent is free)
that is how desperate they are for teams to play there, they pay them

regards to your weather etc etc..

It rains a hell of alot more in Northern States compared to the southern states.
go check rain falls for each city pass few years you will be surprised

(its double the amount)

so the tax payer is flogged for the bill like most other things facility and grass roots wise for the NRL?

to a small extent in Sydney and far more so in Queensland yes
the AFL has teams in places also and rain is never used as an excuse

a winter in Brisbane is shorts and a jumper in the evening with a bit of warm rain and main rain seasons is just after summer not winter
a Winter is Melbourne and Tassie is cold and frosty and far more brutal than Sydney serve up, Perth aside from a month of cold evenings is food and Adelaide is a mixture

its just the usual BS excuses from you lot straight to the victim violin

btw having spend half of my life over in central Erope Melbourne winter is probably more brutal than France, German, Netherlands severs up due to the cold winds from the artic being blown in from the bass straight so i can only imangine Tasmania would be worse

I do not even know how Victorians even go out in winter,
I was in Melbourne last year for a 2 AFL games,
both Packed, and yet it was miserably cold Yet AFL Melbourne Attendances are like the 2nd or 3rd best in the world
in all sports.. (explain how and why Melbourne lol)

Yep Olympic Park pay NRL clubs to play at OLYMPIC PK
and no they don't lose money they regain it through parking and other ways through the stadium deal.

Yes AFL have teams in in northern states. but that is like 44 games compared to 168 games.

so you admit how the people of Melbourne dont go out at in winter half of the teams are based down there and others around the country. so the start of the NRL season there is some rain then it slows out to nice weather and the excuses begin

for a game at the MCG needs 30k to break even and docklands wikipedia says 20k
so some one would be wearing the cost of 10k crowds to play at olympic park stadium

Olympic Park just wants use (no one wants to play there)
do under estimate how much money they make just from 10k people.

Sooksie 'ol mate, I would direct you to todays page 95 of the Sunday Telegraph. The Allegiant Stadium crowd was cited by highly respected NRL journalist Phil Rothfield as such, "The NRL has furiously denied suggestions it fudged the crowd numbers for the season opener at Allegiant Stadium Las Vegas.

The Stadium management released a crowd figure of 38,107 last week, but the NRL POSTED, 45,209 on the day of the event. TURNS OUT THE DISCREPANCY IS EASY TO EXPLAIN - THE STADIUM DIDN'T ALLOW FOR CORPORATE SALES AND ONLY COUNTED GENERAL ADMISSION."

Well, well, well..................will someone give me a good flogging with a wet lettuce leaf lolololololololol!!!!!!!!!! The exact thing folk have been telling Sooksie since last year has come to pass............again...... lolololololol!!!!!!

So what do you say Sooks??? 1. An apology? (I think not lolol). 2. A correction? 3. Maybe give your original quote some added context?? 4. Something? 5. Anything? 6. Or maybe pretend this never happened and feel proud you have once again besmirched the reputation of the NRL?

On current and past form I'm going with No. 6 lololololololololol!!!!!!!!!!! What do you say sports fans????
