I think what he's saying is we are Australian so we dont care what sport NZ watch. Currently the AFL is the most watched sport in Australia
depends which way you look it though,
as I said,
take out the Warriors than the NRL now has 15 teams >> making it a 7 game round..
AMAZING that the NRL can go neck to neck with a 7 games to 9 games.
People in Australia still watch the warriors games? Why would you add in who watched in another country to determine most popular in Australia? It's not one less team being shown on tv in Australia... still the same games?
Yeah we don't have to include N.Z figures..
but I am just saying that it is minus a team.. than
as we are only including 15 heartland teams in the country..
either way (per week) it is 8 games v 9 games.

once again, I dont give a shit.
I clearly stated that it was about total ratings - which matter since the AFL gets paid a shit load more than the NRL and clearly on its total, not its average.
But hey, you keep chipping away with bullshit.
The AFL don't get paid a shitload more money at all. If its based on what they sell to the networks the NRL are the ones paid a shitload more!
They get a shitload more ratings and make a shitload more money aswell.
The AFL are paid more. Its that simple.
YES AFL Are paid more, it is a 6 year deal compared to a 5 year deal..
something lots of people seem to forget..
do we have a precise figure of how much more AFL gets per year ?
Thanks

I think you'll find the fumblers here just make stuff up due to their bias. Global Sports boss Colin Smith said the NRL deal is comparable to the AFL deal i.e. has the same value. I would objectively say the deals are so close it is purely chest beating for either side to claim victory.
Interestingly, Smith also said if there were a 2nd team in Brisbane the NRL would get more than the AFL. It's mind blowingly stupid not to have a 2nd Brisbane.

Yes Definitely>> Lack of Vision by the NRL Commission.
It is a certainty that 2 extra teams would make up that GAP of 30million
the AFL recan GWS AND SUNS brought in 50 million to the deal
a Heartland QLD TEAM would bring in more dough I would say..
( I know its a "IF" )

How is the Titians currently going financially? Their crowd and membership figures haven't been growing much since they joined 10 years ago.
Why not give them the flick and add in another Brisbane team?

That's not a bad idea.
But I think they will get more followers in that city if they just start up a new team all together from there.
Surely Brisbane is the next expansion team, not Perth or Central Coast.

Unless the NRL outrate the AFL on fox by over 66k this will be another win to the AFL. No excuses here too tossballers. Your game was 7th v 10th, ours was 7th v 9th. Your game was close, ours was over by half time.
16 - 4 is the lead now. Wow, just wow, and absolute smashing
