Scheduling finals up against nothing at all is a much bigger benefit than finals v club games. But you know that already.

4 Q final v club games / 1 final against nothing - I cant see much difference there. Our Melbourne Ratings for our earlier semi averaged near 60 or 70k . Considering this was a final there wasn't many more melbourne viewers.

Great figures, absolutely helped by their being no AFL on, but thats the price the AFL pays for having a different schedule. Its not leagues fault - and in any case, the figures are undeniably good.

Regional ratings for AFL GF usually about the 900-1million mark................looks like SOO is still King even with the swans playing.
