The Bulldogs managed to score a point and then hang on to the narrowest of victories giving them a place in a preliminary final next weekend against Port Adelaide. The metro audience was 835,000 with 471,000 in Melbourne. The audience in Brisbane was 88,000, almost double the number watching the NRL on Nine.

You do know the NRL is the dominant code on Brisbane. I would think a game to determine who made the 8 would or should rate 200,000 in Brisbane.

the wions can't get near the 3rd most popular NRL side in QLD for ratings when they're both in finals

Also, the AFL GF - being up against the NRL prelim? Should be interesting. Do you think the NRL may move it so it isn't. This isn't an NRL V AFL thing - I would expect the AFL to move a prelim if up against an NRL GF too.
