Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap
and she still changes your nappies as well!

Is a losing battle with AFL trying to sell their sport to the Chinese. Gives other codes a giggle at AFLs expense though.

Well, it usually takes a while for the truth to come out in the Australian Fumbling League and for last years China mess it finally has.
Port Adelaide, the AFL and all the fumbling zealots here were saying the game generated sponsorship & made a profit. Here's the facts:
"Port Adelaide and the AFL each lost $200,000 on last year’s Shanghai game after covering unforeseen costs from Channel Seven for covering the match against Gold Coast".
So the whole venture lost neary half a million $ lololololololololololol. This without doubt was the sporting flop of the year. Although there was no AFLX last year lololololololololol.

Funny how AFL fans are trying to palm this off. Even if it was Port Adelaide ls idea. AFL still got behind it massively and bignoted themselves with it.King-Eliagh wrote: ↑Thu Nov 02, 2017 8:57 amSportCapital wrote: ↑Wed Nov 01, 2017 5:48 pmWith Chinese culture regarding physical fitness so high it makes sense to try and break into their market. No other team ball sport runs further for longer.
I'm pretty sure this is the level of thinking that is expressed down at afl hq!
I can just imagine their board meetings
afl board member douchebag - so they say there's like a billion people in China, if we can get one percent of that market we'll be so awesome, right?
gil machlachlan you know what... You're fukkin onto something! You're a bloody genius!!!
afl board member douchebag 2 (trying to sound smart for browny points) and the Ahhhhh The Ahhhhh ... the Chinese culture, yes the Chinese culture really regards physical fitness so high and our boys are physically fit so then it makes sense
gil machlachlan this is soooooo right right now, will someone give that man a raise!!
Sport capital for your information dude. Culture is a concept. A Culture doesn't "regard physical fitness" in any way whatsoever.
Pickup yer game!
And it was still the biggest flop of 2017 sport. No more passing the buck. It was a huge embarrassment for the AFL.
