no! youll find most people play touch for fitness or social reasons & have next to zero interest in league or union!
backed up by the fact the participation numbers for proper league and union are so low
Same shit
Post
Get shown up
Wait months
Repost same shit
Participation numbers (I have always stated that they are not a true indication)RL & AFL are about the same .
Yet you say RL is low
What is wrong with your brain .
RL now throws the participation number line around probably seeing as the AFL have for years & wasn't questioned about the bullshiit numbers
IIRC last years annual report had participation numbers at 1.4 mill
Now if you follow your usual insane rant script
You will scream bullshit
Yet take the AFL numbers as gospel .
A perfect brainwashed fumblefan
exactly! we have been through this several times! posting participation numbers from several different sources! ABS, roy morgan, erass etc, all showed the NRLOL participation numbers to be crap! fudged over inflated numbers
note i never mention the AFL participation numbers either just numbers from 3rd party collection of stats
Yes we have been through this several times
& you were proven wrong on each occasion
Posting Roy Morgan polls as proof .
Lol
Polls from years ago .
Simple fact
Participation numbers are about the same
Yet in your bizarro world ,...AFL good
NRL bad
You really should try yo live in the real world for a change
Lol
You probably wouldn't understand any numbers over 3 .
That's about the limit of the mathematical side of your potplant brain .

get over the insults and tantrums and answer the question
yeah what about the ABS and erass? government collected statistics!
of course you dont want to believe them because they show the complete opposite to what the NRLOL numbers do!
the NRLOL numbers are eve more dubious when you consider in the report is shows next to nobody plays league out side of NSW & QLD

I've mentioned that several times in the past! Twice already in this thread & like usual, it's a stat or something that doesn't suit their argument & they ignore it and stamp their feet

Multiple surveys have for years put AFL participation streets ahead of league.
Iirc you have posted on here that the numbers released in the respective annual reports are far more accurate than polls or surveys .
Now you've changed.
Lol

Lol
Roy Morgan surveys
Just lol
ABS
Erass
government agencies
lol selective on facts as per usual :>::
given that the roy morgan polls are similar to that of the abs and erass
the NRLOL numbers has less credibility than the roy morgan polls

Next Saturdays FTA game Panthers V Cowboys. Neither team has a massive following but both still in the scrap for the finals - should rate ok.

Yeh Storm v Roosters could of been a better game to have on FTA
Cows v Sharks should be a good one>> the week after..
(just wish FTA Saturday game was here to say>>
it didn't really affect the FOX Figure still rated big>>
just increases the overall figure by x 3

Yep. Didn't effect the Fox ratings at all. The same deal applies for the next 5 years of the new deal i.e. one Saturday game on FTA over the last 5 weeks of the comp. That should mean about 2.5 mill more ratings over and above the normal Fox numbers.

A formal, competitive variety, known as Touch, developed from rugby league and now exists as a sport in its own right. In addition, touch rugby games are played as training activities for rugby league and rugby union; as safer variants of rugby, particularly in schools and junior clubs, and as an informal social sport.

Rugby League as a game is so Physical..
Touch was brought in for..
If you have certain injuries,
fitness / skill training
anyone can play....
It would be like AFL doing the same thing, but you don't tackle you just touch the player...
now would that make it a whole different sport ????????????
no... it just takes the Physical side out of the game,
and you rely on Speed / Skill In a different form.
