Sure, different clubs have taken their time as the best, but we havent had 2 teams dominate the last 2 decades like the NRL. Funny thhing is the Broncos and Storm were both owned by News Ltd too.![]()
Your chasing your tail now hehe![]()

Hawthorn are 0 and 4 this year. They missed the GF last year, not even making a prelim. Theyve played in 5 GF's since the storm were in existence, winning 4.
Meanwhile the storm have been in 7 GF's and won 4 since their inception. They're near the top of the ladder again this year too. This makes the storm a more dominant force in the NRL than the hawks in the AFL
So who is chasing their tail?![]()
I'd be surprised if it happens at all. AFL players just dont value rep gamesNRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:33 amThen why are you waiting till 2019 for an indigenous round, LOL dickheadNlolRL wrote: Sat Apr 22, 2017 10:52 pmwe could field 3 indigenous teams you mathematically challenged clown. No more excuses.![]()
I have no issue with a team winning multiple GFs in a row. If theyre the best team then so be it. Look at games like tennis or cricket, they are regularly dominated by freak teams or players. What's disappointing is when a few teams dominate year after year like the Broncos and Storm seem to do in the NRLNRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2017 8:37 amNo prize for second best.NlolRL wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2017 4:33 pmchasing my tail?NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Sun Apr 23, 2017 9:47 amAFL has had Hawthorne dominate in the last 5 years. You have still had way more multiple premiership winners in row lately compared to the NRL.

No amount of lame excuse will change that fact.![]()
AFLs talent pool is definitely lacking.![]()
gfs arent the only measure of a successful team. Between these two teams theyve had 11 appearances in 17 GFsAFLcrap1 wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2017 3:17 pmOh my
The storm have won 2 GFs in 18 yrs
The Broncos havnt won a GF in a decade
Yet they dominate .
Whatever planet you're on please stay there
11 appearances in 17 GFs is well over 50%. Thats far more of a domination than a few AFL teams winning some GFs in a row. How many times have the storm missed the finals in the last 2 decades? Three times, with one being a season they would have but lost points. The Hawks have missed the finals 9 times in 2 decades.AFLcrap1 wrote: Tue Apr 25, 2017 3:55 pmBut not dominated
There is a difference
Hawksville won 3 in a row
We don't have that in our comp.
No team has even gone back to back since the early 90s
again, I have no issue with good sides winning a few GFs in a row. Thats the benefit of developing a good side. But no one wants the same side to be successful year after year. Look at the Broncos! Theyve only missed finals 3 times in 3 decadesNRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: Fri Apr 28, 2017 9:11 pmNo point bullshitting guys. AFL has had more multiple final winners in a row by a mile in recent years.
Is almost impossible to win a grand final in consecutive years in the NRL.
And even if you win the grand final. Winning the world club challenge after is just as hard.
Cronulla got pumped by Wigan earlier this year.
