Having been to the ground it can be very deceptive. A large number of seats are reserved and the best spot is on the wing standing at the back of the first teir.

As I have said previously, Jarryd Hayne is just what the Titans needed. 10000 seats sold after he announced his signing. Best thing they could have done as needed to do. Apparently corporates was sold out and nrl may be able to relinquish ownership. Master stroke I say.

they were expecting around 20k before Hayne even signed..

BUT THE HAYNE PLAN HAS SENT THE GOLD COAST A BUZZ

the AFL are pumping 20mill a season into the Gold coast

VIETNAM it is becoming.. (taken down the lions with it)

All as empty as the pic above .
Yet they posted a figure that claimed that more than one in three seats were taken .
Over a third full .

Absolute bullshit .

No way in hell is there 1 in every 3 seats taken, no more then 6k at the ground i reckon.

That may be true but my point was the seats being more spread out over a larger area.

Not sure of the final figure. I am sure it can be looked up. I dont think either are especially great and titans should theoretically be much higher that suns given the amount of nrl fans in the area and doing okay on the feild.

Titans also had a few Monday games.

They take there toll on crowds, something no AFL side has to worry about bar queens birthday or whatever holiday they play on once a year.
