Funny enough two ex RL players in Tiqiri and Sailor came near last, as did almost every decent sized athlete like Ling. As Ive said in another post, the comp heavily favoured smaller athletes like Slater. Furthermore, many of the events werent what Id call a test of athletic ability. Golf, car driving, free throws, jet skiing.....FFS, what do these events prove??

He was playing rugby union. Maybe if he was playing RL he would have had the skill and endurance required. dito sailor.

Symonds would have been the biggest bloke there and he came 2nd.but but but

Fancy dildo couldn't even win the AFL kicking event. - couldn't even come second :(/ :-+ :(/ :(/ [-(

Symonds came 5th you clown :_<> He place well behind Deledio.

Tiqiri and Sailor were also RL players. They are typical of many RL sized players. Yet they were terrible. But but but

Deledio lost the kicking challenge because it wasnt made difficult enough, so it wasnt a true seperation of skills. If the challenge was to kick on the run or from outside 50m he would have won easy

Yeah there were some events that related to fitness, strength and stamina, but there were way too many meaningless events that were irrelevant.

Interesting how RL came 4th in the 3rd season. What happened? Did RL lose all ability in 1 year? Or maybe selecting a single player to represent an entire code is BS and is more about the player than anything else

Tiqiri and sailor were not only league players but for many years they were considered amongst the best of that game

stop speaking shit FFS! Deledio is one of Richmond's better players only, which is pretty average for a club that hasnt impacted the finals for 36 years

Dildo was at that time a on the rise rookie in AFL.

Hillbilly was at his peak and at the time one of the best RL players.

Don't get me wrong billly is a great athlete, but hardly represented RL. It was a great personal performance, which did not relate to RL.

Clear example, how did an AFL player beat an NRL player in the weight challenge?

How did a RL player beat a fumbler in a kicking challenge

Exactly and that's another example why it's purely based on individual performance rather then code.

Thanks for adding to my point

Lol I didn't add to anything .
It was about all round athletic ability .
RL won 2 out of 3

All round athletically it showed that fumblers are lesser athletes .

That's right, it was the 10cm shorter, racing car driver that came 2nd. Symonds was the one that won the AFL kicking event :(/ :>:: :>:: but but but

4th , that right and your all Australia rep came 6th :(/ :(/ :(/

Ex rugby league players starved of condition. In Wendals case over 30 and with a habit.

Lol at how you bring RL into it, that proves it guys, Billy at his peak beat Brett an on the rise rookie, that means RL players better then AFL players. Bahahaha dumb logic.

Slater is quite unique and no other RL player is close to his athetism. No wonder the RL mob go on about him like he was a god.
