When AFL can pull a decent consistent crowd in New Zealand, then you can start crowing.
Because at the moment, AFL exhibition matches in Wellington have halved in 3 years.
And when you can pull a decent and consistent crowd in Australia let us know.
91,000 State of Origin in AFL heartland is more decent than AFL will EVER get in NSW or QLD.

Hardly consistent mate, and last time I checked Sydney didn't have a 91k seat stadium.
AFL got 73k in Sydney a few years ago for regular game, what's the biggest crowd for a regular NRL game in Melbourne?
A few years ago AFL got 73k in Sydney. How is 13 years ago a few??? (2003) That's ages ago
AFL has'nt gotten a crowd higher than that since in NSW. =D>

cant wait to the NRL nines comes to Sydney or Brisbane
then you will see how big it will become.
more but buts, gonna's and chest beating that will never eventuate
any way if it was taken away from Auckland, they couldn't call it the Auckland 9s any more
who cares that they cant call it the Auckland 9's
that is not going to stop the Growth and viewership
if the game was played in Australia
its a win win (for the NRL and the Fans) if played in Sydney / Brisbane
