Lol nice deflecting rant .
With some dumbo butchered English thrown in ...well done .

We aren't talking about news stories .
We are supposed to be discussing the claims you made .
No one else ....just you .
Now into the membership thread .
I've posted a link .
Let's discuss if the NRL has expanded outside QLD & NSW.
Let's discuss where MELB is .
& if they have a NRL team .
If they do ..which normal people know is true then you will have to man up & admit you lied

Lol
Run Gilligan run

Is actually not a bad plan. Expand the reserve grades and create a better player depth for clubs when first grade expansion eventually happens. Also is growing the game in other nations like Fiji, New Zealand and PNG.

The AFL clearly have a quality in player depth problem. They have far less close games than the NRL. So many of their finals have been thrashings.
Our player depth issues are being addressed with the introduction of academies in the expansion states, already we're seeing top 10 draft picks coming through and it will only improve over time.

The issue I see with the NRL is over time the island nations will represent the majority of NRL teams, like the African Americans dominate the NBA.
Hardly likely when you have a whole other Rugby League competion in the UK.
Are probably English players in the NRL than ever before.

Unlike AFL which really only has half a country to get it's players and no where else.

Hence the constant scoreline blow outs in so many AFL matches and grand finals.
And yet, the AFL double the crowds of the NRL, DOUBLE!!

And the AFL get more from the broadcasters.
Knowing you can't win with a debate about player depth shortages in AFL you change to a different debate lol..

As for crowds, tell me one time an AFL match as gotten 91,000 plus people in NSW or QLD like the NRLs State Of Origin got in Melbourne?

How about we look at AFLs huge failure to get crowds growing at exhibition matches in Wellington NZ. Their crowds halved in 3 years and AFL has now cancelled matches in the city it is such a failure.

Yet Souths seem to keep their exhibition match crowds consistant in AFL heartland Perth. Why is this?
Now all's you need is to play SOO every week and you might be able to match the AFL, I think you'd find the novelty would ware thin rather quickly, though..
Ha you can't even answer because you know AFL has never ever gotten crowds like that in NSW or Qld. Just is not possible is it.
It isn't possible, do NSW or QLD even have stadiums that hold 80,000+? We have got 70,000 in Sydney for club games though, what's the biggest crowd the NRL have got in Melbourne? And remember SOO isn't NRL.

How is State of Origin not NRL
when -

It has all NRL players.
The NRL sells the tickets.
The NRL gets the profits.
The NRL organizes the venues and games.
The NRL sells the merchandise.
The coachs and training staff are all from the NRL.
Is advertised on the NRL website.

If it is not NRL what is it intencity?? =D>

UK Superleague?? :(/

Deary me intencity, did you have to many beers in the holidays?

Sounds like you just can't accept that a Rugby League match got 91,000 plus people in an AFL heartland.

Even if it turns out to be a one off. It is still a great crowd that AFL has never gotten in NSW or Qld.

It's quite funny watching the yearly meltdown over SOO .
They turn themselves inside out trying to explain how it's not NRL .

They highlight every negative associated with SOO..crowds,TV ratings drop during SOO .
Yet when RL fans say that's a small price to pay for having the BIGGEST sporting event in Aust each year.
They just ignore that .

If you accept the negatives you have to accept the positives .
RL fans do .

Fumblers just get hysterical

Pre ARLIC there was the ARL & the NRL ..plus state bodies .
All run by the commission now

Only one player I can think of that came from Overseas to play...Alfie Langer in 2001
These days I can't see any Aust players from the ESL playing .
Most go over when in the twilight of their career or they can't get a contract here
Not sure what the rules state now about .there was a big review about 2 yrs ago on eligibility
But it is not ever likely to come up
