Who knows .
But to run the tradition line is quite funny
What happened to traditional old clubs when they compromised the comp looking after expansion clubs.
Making sure northern states clubs did well .

theyre making sure the expansion teams are viable in a competitive market. They still value the tradition of a day GF, as do many fans

news Media owned Melbourne but now they do not, not since 2013..
NEWS HELPED the storm because they wanted more money from media presence
they also have a feeder club in QLD

News own the Broncos because News can squeeze a few extra bucks out of them and also help have control over the League in a way by owning its biggest club. Should've made them sell their part of the Broncos as well back when the commish took over, fucking parasites.

It went quite well spazza well the ticket prices were about 3 times higher for the cheapest seat to the AFL grand final & the ratings wise they were similar, nrlol in prime time and AFL on the Saturday afternoon. Having 90% of the viewing market.
So it looks like the nrlol was the minnow grand final spazza
