The AFL get good crowds but sheesh they look worse than amateurish o/s. Atleast acknowledge the facts millions have been completely wasted by the stupidity of the head honchos at AFL hq.

Anyway. You've provided a link showing 2mil spent in South africa and another one which suggests the AFL invested heaps in oval developments in China which resulted in jack diddly squat. But can you provide us the actual figures? I'd say they prob put a Shitload of $$$ into project planning and site visits meetings and marcoms. Then it looks as tho they payed for the project to take place and the Chinese took off with the money and provided no ovals. Heaps shonky stuff all round there but wooksy, seeming you see urself as an AFL head honcho what with ur interviewing the head of AFL India and all, can you find out how many million the AFL lost on China? Constructing ovals is no small project so My educated estimate is about 15-20 million lost there in the past five years.

Anyway I'm not saying the nrl hasn't wasted moolah because they have. I just think the AFL has wasted more and continues to waste more. I mean what the fukk were they thinking going to China to try and build the game there?

Like, was there one skerrick of evidence suggesting the Chinese would actually take to the sport?
