Despite thousands of freebies and heavily discounted tickets, today's Daily Telegraph reports there are still 7,000 tickets remaining. Can't even fill ANZ Stadium for the pinnacle of their game lol

so does it look like a sellout after the NRL ran a fire-sale on tickets?

Over 80k, highest game 1 SOO opener in History says you should shut the hell up and wash your mouth out, those grapes must be stinging really bad by now.

Oh, and a fire sale usually suggest $5 tickets or in the AFL's case, $2.50 or free.

No tickets for soo last night went for under $50, that's a lot of coin the ARLC made last night, wonder if that will be included in the NRL's revenue, or will all the journos and wannabe journos out there leave that out as well like they seem to leave everything else out when reporting RL against any other sport out here including professional hopscotch.

500k less viewers than last year. Tickets heavily discounted so the ground would come close to selling out

Not looking so rosy now the old SOO

Still higher than the AFL gf and last year had nsw trying to stop getting smashed 9-0 in 9 years, I wouldn't worry about 500k, that is just making the figure come back to some sort of normality.

And not all got 50 tickets, plenty spent hundreds, thousand sof people did, you can read all about it in the crowd thread at LU, so stop the lies and shit talk again.

3.6mill is a great Figure.

Game 2 last year was something different as NSW had won game 1 in Brisbane first time since 2005

go game 2 was always going to break records.

a Decider for game 3 this year, will prob get close, but I don't think wil beat it.

Considering game 1 was played at Suncorp which only holds 52000 of course your going to surpass that but game 2 was at ANZ and had 83000 which means there was 3000 less attend than last year and according to you and your logic therefore in decline! Hahaha you just like twisting the facts so much I thought I'd apply your reasoning to your own argument!!!

Yes but you didn't even take into account of what I just said.
it was never going to break GAME 2 Record last year.
