what? A leg bye is a reward for missing the ball. A player can even be hit in the head an still make runs. Point is they can score from a mistake

You really have no idea. Maybe dont bother commenting at all

 you stoopid gosling! Can you explain how a batsmen who is hit in the ribs and takes a leg bye at the risk of being run out is the same as an AFL forward shooting unmarked from right in front, duffs it, but gets a point anyway?

 Please nlol, all this on worldcupfinal day is quite awful. You butchering yourself and the great game of cricket. Stop it at once!

can you explain how a batsman who goes to hit a leg glance, misses the ball, and takes a leg bye or even 4 leg byes isnt a reward for missing?

Ah ah ah [-X tsk tsk tsk [-X

I asked first nlol. And in case you hadn't noticed, my question is more relevant anyhow.

There simply is no sport quite like it. You've got the ball. No one is making it hard for you, there's no big cracks in the pitch to make you faulted, noone's bowling you a friggin bouncer, no you're just in front of two sticks which are a massive distance apart, you walk back, completely free to take a shot at goals because, wait for it, you performed a 'catch' something 3year olds begin to master, you kick, you muff it, but thank god ur team still gets a point because there's two more sticks on either side of the goals.

In fact, AFL games have been won in the final moments exactly how I described above.

It's really quite fascinating when one analyses it like this. :D
