Rugby league has been rocked by revelations representative players Greg Bird and Dave Taylor have been stood down by the Titans after being linked to the drug scandal engulfing the club.

Bird and Taylor have been served with notices to appear in court surrounding the cocaine crisis which threatens to destroy the club. The pair join teammates Beau Falloon, Jamie Dowling and Kalifa Faifai Loa to be stood down by the club.

Reports suggest former St George Illawarra and Gold Coast winger Joe Vickery has also been served.

Titans players arrived back on the Gold Coast on Sunday following their 30-10 trial loss to the Cowboys.
