Funny that ERASS and ABS get similar figures though?
Two independent surveys that give similar findings conducted over 10 years, I suppose that is not good enough but figures that are produced by the governing organisations are correct LOL

The comment on the Volleyball Australia was a comment to myself, as in I have no idea if they are called Volleyball Australia and I cant be arsed looking it up. Because I know that wankers on here if I said Volleyball Australia said so and so they would come back and say see ho much he knows they are called Australian Volleyball or something.
The simple fact is I DID NOT KNOW what they were called and wasn't going to look, it wasn't a jibe at you wookie

Now funny when i ask for evidence none is forthcoming but you lot continually demand evidence when it has already been posted a few times.

104,100 over 15 yrs old rugby league players in Australia, source Australian Bureau of Satistics 2012
178,700 over 15 yrs old Rugby League Players ERASS 2010 Report
Two independent reports
little old league fudging numbers again

Why stop there, Roy Morgan also produced a survey that arrived at figure of 350,000 on march 7th this year.
Surveys are simply not as accurate as dead reckoning figures from the governing body themselves.
i've seen both surveys, the ABS one and the Roy morgan one, here is another one from
State of Play in 2006
Participation rates: (2005 ERASS Report Australian Sports Commission)
All players over 15 years.- participation rates
Soccer 614,300
AFL 536,200
League 195,900
http://www.convictcreations.com/footbal ... stats.html
of those 3 surveys, the numbers are all different, but all clearly show, that, the codes with highest participation rates are
1 Soccer
2 AFL
with League a very distant 3rd!

Yes because Rugby leagues playing figures actually dropped by 74,000 in space of two years. FFS. Some days I doubt all of your mental capacity.
No, but I believe the ABS figures have a confidence interval of 25% which would put both figures within each others upper and lower band

The point Wookie is the ERSS data was annual surveys for 10 years, which showed fairly consistent figures well below what NRL report. Now these are statistically viable figures, and to show 10 years worth (plus the data from the ABS) all showing figures well below those claimed by the NRL. The chances of that occurring as random chance?
These are independent bodies, I will ask again because it appears no one is able to or will answer, are the NRL figures independently audited?

And how does AFL go with global player numbers???. Rugby league would smash your little no hoper AFL game out of the ball park

Yet auskick are included in the AFL, indoor soccer and whatnot for sokka and only part of the RL.
Typical, and it will always continue while the same people around the world support the same establishment sports no matter what they do.
That's what happens when you tell the establishment to go fuck themselves sideways with a cactus, they run a 120 year crusade against you. Not working though you Kents, RL is still here and growing these days, you left the lid ajar just a little bit to much, you were not disciplined enough to finish off what you had started, you tried the Nazis and they failed, what next, the CIA's backed Al-Qaeda-ISIL insurgents?
LOL and too late, quite a few middle east countries have taken up the game lately, they'll be on our side. You lot can continual fighting you religious war and sticking up for morally corrupt sports like FIFA and the IRB.

I believe Yes for Auskick BUT Indoor soccer and futsal is never counted, they are always considered separate, the data states outdoor football

no they are not as accurate but multiple surveys over a long time period give a good indication. Now again are the NRL figures independently audited?
