post_hoc wrote:I know this might be hard to understand, but our club actually cares about their supporters, ANZ is a crap stadium to watch rectangular sports, that being said we have not lost at Wanderland since February, why would we choose to give that up? A home ground advantage is a massive boost.
Besides all that last weekend their was a monster truck thing at ANZ, which was likely to stuff the ground, which is something us footballers care about. Adelaide and Victory suffered that at the Adelaide Oval last week.
I know this might all be above you, but try to understand. I used small words to help you
Hmmmmm
But but

Yep, but thanks for that, 20 million on TV, isn't that what you go on about with low ground attendance?
Poor raider Dave, had no idea what to come back with.

sydneyfc wrote:post_hoc wrote:the issue you seem to have is you limit yourself to Sydney, Why? We are talking about how many people will be watching this game, why limit yourself to Sydney, NSW or even just Australia. You seem to have a problem with people outside of Sydney, why?
they limit it because the nrl has 0 interest outside of our lovely country
the a-league is more famous than the nrl around the world, which is absolutely hilarious and true.
my club got more exposure with del piero and sold more shirts than all the nrl sydney based clubs combined :_<>
the wanderers will be watched by numbers in the tens of millions - not a measly 3 or 4 million like the state of origin
there are so many angles one could have fun with this, i mean shit, the a-league has it's own video game on ps4 and xbox1 , nrl????
your game has been exposed as an international fraud and minnow

Please post some proof.
You make a claim ,back it up or it's a lie.
& I love how the hooligans are shifting the goalposts.
This thread is about the biggest game in Syd.
Forget international,we are talking about the clubs popularity in Syd.
The claim was made that they & the other hooligan team were the biggest rivalry in sport .
So why are you seat jumpers continually deflecting from this.

You really seem to have a real trouble understanding this. Wanderers are playing a huge game in Parramatta I know I know but close to Sydney right?.
10 maybe 20 million watching on TV, bigger than SOO and Gf combined

You really don't have a clue do you?
Football is so big your brain can't understand it so you think everyone else sees things as small as you, so very sad.

Speaking of not having a clue.
You get a gig.
It has been explained many many times .
We are talking about SYD .
Or as some claimed ,how big this rivalry is in AUST.
You keep deflecting to other countries.
You want to talk about how big sokka is in other countries ,start a thread about it .go for it.
You won't get any argument off me .
BUT this thread is all about popularity in this country & mainly in the largest city.
So please stick to the topic.
Now how many in this country will watch this sokka game .?
Will it be more than a GF ?
Will it be more than SOO.?
Will it be more than an ordinary club game .?
Or should we start looking at matching QLD Intrust numbers.?
Edit .
Just read that the Syd V Adelaide game last night got a crowd of 3673

Lets do this as simple as possible for you, you like numbers?
1. The game is played in Sydney, so it is relevant
2. Football is a world game, so why limit the viewership to only Sydney.
3. Sometimes you say Sydney, next it is Australia? Why, why expand it from Sydney to Australia, but then fail to expand it to anywhere else?
4. Doesn't someone here have a sig about how great the superleague TV deal is in the UK?
more numbers
$1.5 million prize money on offer for the winner
67 million, the viewers for last years final (we won't get that but hey a fraction of that is nice)
130 matches, the number of games played in this competition so it is not a small thing
20 million my prediction for the minimum amount of TV viewers over both legs
You really like trying to change the rules when you loose the argument. The game is being played in Sydney, so it is relevant, but unlike your sport this game will be viewed worldwide, (well at least half the world LOL)

Did you get hit in the head a lot ?
Go back & read the thread title .
Then the opening post.
Ok you understand that..lol prob not.
This was about 2 teams in Syd..that is why Syd is mentioned.
Then it was claimed that this game was the biggest rivalry in Sport in this country..
That is why AUST is mentioned .
You don't judge a team or sports popularity in one place ( simple language for you...home support). By who watches in another country.
Are you Cwacker?.
That was his bizarre logic.
Home town support could be worked out by H & A crowd averages ,instead of just Home averages.
Simple question for a very simple person.
How does a TV viewer in another country count as a home town fan ,& reflect the home town support ?

So the European Champions League game today between Roma (played in Rome Italy) and Bayern Munich, the only relevant bit of information you guys want to look at is how many people watched in Rome?
Jesus you guys are thick.
I love this quote
"You don't judge a team or sports popularity in one place ( simple language for you...home support). By who watches in another country.
Are you Cwacker?."
You do for international sports, oh sorry, you don't have anything to gauge that on LOL.
You want it to be Sydney focused, because lets face it, you don't really have anything else to go by. How sad
BTW it is Post hoc, short for Post hoc, ergo propter hoc, you knuckle dragging mouth breather, quick question does your family tree fork?

Yet we see over and over nrl people trying to include nrl TV ratings on nz to boast about beating the AFL ????
