Not going to happen due to the expense of team travel in both directions and the associated expenses. That's why I called it an April Fool's joke. For it to be viable I think it would need a membership in excess of 100,000 and a guaranteed crowd for every home game in similar numbers. Even Wembley doesn't hold that many and I think it may be the biggest venue in the UK.

Well I don't know if this growth is as big as they say my son registered for RL and the side he was going to play for folded - with an age group that incorporates both u15 & 16 they couldn't get enough to play - yet he is one of those 3300 odd and has not played 1 min. So before you go on about birchgrove perhaps you should all consider if this is going on in every code!

I don't believe that's enough to cover the transport costs for visiting teams going to the UK, and the UK team going to the US. That's expensive over a season.
