Rugby League has been around in victoria on and off since the 1920s. The Storm is not the be all and end all of Rugby league in victoria.

Yes it has been there, but not had any reasonable media coverage until the Melbourne storm arrived.
The game was almost unknown.

Not going to happen due to the expense of team travel in both directions and the associated expenses. That's why I called it an April Fool's joke. For it to be viable I think it would need a membership in excess of 100,000 and a guaranteed crowd for every home game in similar numbers. Even Wembley doesn't hold that many and I think it may be the biggest venue in the UK.
